<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><br>Established in April 2019, the Humanitarian Hub in Marib City serves as a crucial center for aid operations in Yemen. It houses 9 UN agencies, providing office space and accommodation for UN personnel working in Marib, as well as short-term lodging for expatriate International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGO) staff when needed. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) maintains a substantial presence there, with 4 international and approximately 127 national staff members. They implement various activities, including health, WASH, shelter, and protection services for internally displaced persons and other vulnerable populations in Marib and nearby regions.<br>Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Field Coordinator (Liaison, Emergency & Recovery Programmes), the Hub Coordinator will be responsible for the management of the overall Humanitarian Hub in Marib.<br>Responsibilities<br>1. Support the coordination with partners and agencies regarding the day-to-day needs identification of the Humanitarian Hub.<br>2. Contribute to planning and provide practical recommendations to support the Hub s objectives.<br>3. Support the day-to-day operations of the Humanitarian Hub, ensuring facilities remain functional and well-maintained.<br>4.
