Conduct trainings and training needs assessments for ICLA target groups Assist in strategic review and monitoring and evaluation of all activities Establish excellent relations with beneficiaries including understanding the needs of beneficiaries through regular visits and frequent contact Document findings on thematic assessments and studies Analyze and produce quantitative and qualitative activity reports. Bring to the immediate attention of the PO emergency support issues requiring immediate action and support. Provide analysis on the Protection issues facing ICLA beneficiaries in Yemen Engage in supporting the NRC team in awareness raising campaigns and community mobilization efforts. Monitor community-based networks and community engagement. Perform any relevant tasks assigned by ICLA Coordinator.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>University degree in law, social studies, development studies / other relevant field/ the equivalent Minimum of 2 years of work experience with NGO or international organization in the area of protection or human rights. Experience from working as Protection employee in a humanitarian/recovery context in Yemen. Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Documented results related to the position's responsibilities Experience with Microsoft Office suites Preferred : Knowledge of English language.</p>

<p>The purpose of the ICLA Assistant Yemen Amran Area/ Amran Gov position is to ensure the qualitative implementation of NRC s ICLA programme in targeted locations, while maintaining safe, inclusive, and accountable protection practices. At the field-operational level, the Officer supports the day-to-day implementation of programme activities and coordination with relevant stakeholders. A critical aspect of the role monitoring, and mentoring implementation of ICLA and ensuring that they deliver services effectively, uphold humanitarian standards, and apply NRC s accountability and protection principles. Apply participative and inclusive process in project implementation and in promoting local capacities to help them wherever possible. Understand the situation, including the legal situation (according to national and international laws and principles), for displacement affected persons and migrants in Yemen. Assist in developing and implementing case management system and database of cases. Support preparing and updating of mapping of all service providers in the area of responsibility. Conduct information sessions and counselling on ICLA thematic areas for beneficiaries including awareness sessions on HLP, civil documentation, and legal identity issues while delivering capacity-building activities for communities, authorities, and partners. Assist in conducting needs assessments for the selected target groups; including focus groups; questionnaires, surveys; and stakeholder interviews. Prepare documents containing legal and related information for target communities. Establish excellent relations with all stakeholders including Local authorities, Civil Registration, humanitarian partners and beneficiaries, with understanding the needs of beneficiaries through regular visits and frequent contact. Document findings of ICLA needs assessments; including preparation of reports and other relevant documents. Regularly meet with other relevant actors and stakeholders and coordinate work, including attending meetings in the field. Identify awareness-raising and outreach opportunities for ICLA work and assist in conducting sessions. Identify training needs for beneficiaries and stakeholders and, as relevant, prepare and conduct training. Assist in conducting research as required. Assist in strategic review; monitoring and evaluation activities and identification of other relevant ICLA activities. Support the implementation of community based protection activities, including the roll-out of Community Safety Planning (CSP) initiatives. Support ICLA assistants in the implementation of ICLA activities in filed. Contribute to the development of NRC's Country strategy, action plan and activities plan and priorities in the ICLA sector. Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the Project Coordinator.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>University degree in law, social studies, development studies / other relevant field/ the equivalent Minimum of 3 years of work experience with an NGO, legal or international organization in the area of protection or human rights. Experience from working as legal &amp; Protection employee in a humanitarian/recovery context in Yemen. Training skills. Reporting skills Experience in research and data analysis Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Documented results related to the position's responsibilities At least 2 years of working experience in legal field.
