Reading</b><b>[RS2]</b><b> and Remedial Program Monitoring</b></p><br><ul> <li><b>Classroom Observations:</b> Monitor reading classes and track classes’ activity progress using approved monitoring observation forms.</li> <li><b>Qualitative Feedback:</b> Facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with adults (parents/teachers) and children to gauge program impact. Collect qualitative feedback from school staff, community members, fathers and mothers councils, and students on challenges and areas for improvement.</li></ul><p><b>4. Data Collection, Reporting, and Documentation</b></p><br><ul> <li><b>Digital Data Collection:</b> Utilize mobile data collection tools - KOBOToolbox - to conduct site inspections and input monitoring data in real-time. Accountability:</u></strong></span></p><br></li> <li><span>Establish an effective functional system for complaints/feedback handling and response mechanisms at community level in the support of the MEAL Assistant.</span></li> <li><span>Ensure the Feedback Response Mechanisms are functional and accessible to beneficiaries.</span></li> <li><span>Develop regular accountability trend analysis of feedback at organizational level and share it with program team as per protocols.</span></li> <li><span>To assist MEAL Coordinator in carrying out preliminary first verification report in case of serious nature of complaints filed by beneficiaries/communities and support for investigation of that types of complaints as per FRM protocol.</span></li> <li><span>On quality and accountability issues, share all information (monitoring reports, preliminary verification reports, etc)</span></li> <li><span>Share MEAL findings & FRM issues in each monthly meeting as defined in the protocol.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong><u>D. In addition, support the project in term of regulating the consumption of all medication items.</span></p><br><p><span><b>SCOPE OF ROLE</b></span></p><br><p><span><b>Reports to: </b></span><span>health and nutrition program manager</span></p><br><p><span><b>Staff directly reporting to this Post: </b></span><span>non </span></p><br><p><span><b>Budget responsibility:</b> </span><span>non </span></p><br><p><span><b>Key Areas of Responsibilities</b></span></p><br><ul> <li>Prepares medication in SCI pharmacy store and hands-over medications and medical supplies to the targeted Health facilities (HFs) in SCI operating areas.</li> <li> Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labelling of pharmaceuticals; verifying orders requested. </li> <li> Managing stock movement (bin card, stock card, reports). And ensure that stores are maintained according to the drugs standards, protocol and donor stander. </li> <li> Collecting and submitting of monthly consumption reports to Reproductive Health Officer. </li> <li>Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies. In warehouses and Health facilities.</li> <li>Work closely with GHO and DHO to ensure progress of project activities.</li> <li> Preparation of donation certificate, waybill for distribution of items to the targeted sites under supervision of Reproductive Health Coordinator.</li> <li> Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. </li> <li> Contributes to team effort to achieve project results. </li> <li> Updating and entering the data to drugs management systems including online systems </li> <li> Ensure that no shortage of medicines and medical supplies in HFs from available stock.</li> <li>Capacity building of MOH and Save the Children staff through supervision, training in drug/stock management and record keeping.</li> <li> Accomplish any additional task related to this position and project. </li> <li>Working effectively as team member and solve staff problems whenever occur. </li> <li> Take up any job-related assignment as requested by supervisor.</li> <li>Ensure that the health program has effective monitoring systems in place to collect, analyze and act on information collected and that health program activities are evaluated.</li> <li>Manage , Monitor and evaluate the stock in the Health facilities and SC Wearhouse and develop strategies to ensure achievement of objectives.</li> <li>Liaise with other implementing partners and local authorities to maximize collaboration and ensure proper coordination of activities </li> <li>Attend health management and coordination meetings. </li> <li>To take any other relevant task given by the supervisor</li> <li>Embed counter-fraud and ethical controls in all operational processes, ensuring compliance with donor and legal requirements, while collaborating with Finance and Counter-Fraud teams to mitigate risks and conduct assessments for high-value programs.</li></ul><p><span><b>Qualifications, Skills and Experience</b></span></p><br><ul> <li>Bachelor degree in pharmaceutical sciences.</li> <li>More than 3 years of relevant work experience in pharmacy, ideally including in humanitarian – health INGO</li> <li>Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond appropriately to questions from line managers.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel to project sites and HFs regularly.</li> <li>Strong English and Arabic language skills, both written and spoken.</li> <li>Excellent computer skills and especially good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft excel.</li> <li>Strong experience in GIK management.</li> <li>Experience in representation and interaction with partners & government officials.</li> <li>Good information seeking skills and analytical approach.</li> <li>Good knowledge of essential drugs, consumables and equipment. Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage stock and resources. </li> <li>Experience staff training and capacity building of national structures.</li> <li>A very good understanding of at least of key technical areas of health and nutrition programming and a working knowledge of the other sectors that include WASH, livelihoods and CP. </li> <li>Ability to analyze information, evaluate options, and follow the strategic directions as guided.</li> <li>Previous experience of working with a multi-cultural team and the adaptability to varied team dynamics</li> <li>Understanding rights based approaches and participatory concepts and practical experience in similar context. </li> <li>Ability to communicate and maintain tactful relations with relevant local authorities in political and militarily sensitive environments. </li> <li>Strong commitment to capacity building of national staff and partners with willingness to adopt a participatory and consultative management approach.</li> <li>Flexible, adaptable, able to improvise and work in stressful, volatile environment </li></ul><p>Commitment to Save the Children values.</p><br><p><span><i>Save the Children believes every child deserves a future.
