Working closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Finance teams, you will provide financial support and insights that help maximize brand performance and deliver sustainable business results. <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>3–5 years of experience in Finance or Commercial Controlling, preferably within a fast-paced FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry. </li>

Protracted conflict, severe economic deterioration, currency instability, climate-related shocks, and constrained access to essential services continue to drive widespread humanitarian needs. Within these areas, approximately one in two people experience acute food insecurity, such as declining household purchasing power, high inflation, and heavily disrupted livelihoods leave millions unable to meet their basic food needs. The humanitarian situation remains critical through the end of 2026. Data indicates that 5.4 million people are experiencing IPC Phase 3 or above (Crisis or worse) acute food insecurity between June and September 2026, with 1.6 million individuals pushed into IPC Phase 4 (Emergency). Despite the onset of the harvest season, these urgent needs are projected to persist and deepen in severity from October to December 2026, with the population in IPC Phase 3 or above remaining stuck at a staggering 5.4 million people. To deliver targeted assistance accountably within this intense operational window, the Marib Field Office requires a dedicated Programme Officer to provide operational support, track data compliance, and ensure the efficient execution of WFP's safety nets. Job Purpose: To provide everyday technical, operational, and data verification support for the implementation, tracking, and monitoring of WFP assistance programs within the Marib area of coverage. Reporting directly to the Head of Field Office, the Programme Officer (Consultant Level 1) will act as a key technical resource to ensure field-level food, cash, and nutrition activities are executed smoothly. The incumbent will focus on tracking cooperating partner data, monitoring distribution sites, resolving field bottlenecks, and supporting beneficiary registration and retargeting workflows to guarantee that life-saving assistance is delivered in strict alignment with the approved Country Strategic Plan and corporate compliance guidelines. Logistics & Distribution Coordination: Assist in coordinating everyday activities between the Programme and Logistics teams to support timely delivery schedules and verify adherence to WFP distribution rules. Field Monitoring & Inspection: Undertake regular random visits, when possible, to final distribution points, local retailers, and storage facilities to check food quality, verify safety standards, and collect feedback from beneficiaries. Data Verification & CP Reporting: Review, check, and follow up on monthly distribution and narrative project reports submitted by Cooperating Partners (CPs) to ensure data accuracy before final system entry. Digital Identity & SCOPE Tracking: Assist in tracking field-level digitalization efforts, providing day-to-day operational support to partners for household retargeting and biometric SCOPE registration workflows. M&E Issue Tracking: Help prepare monthly monitoring plans and track field bottlenecks or complaints flagged by the WFP Call Center, supporting the Field Office team in compiling details to close issues promptly. Local Inter-Agency Liaison: Maintain routine working-level contact with local humanitarian partners, NGOs, and community focal points to share information and prevent duplication of food assistance activities. Operational Reporting Support: Draft initial input notes, updates, and data summaries for the weekly and ad-hoc Field Office progress reports submitted to the Head of Field Office. Partner Guidance: Share approved guidelines with cooperating partner staff regarding record-keeping, ledger maintenance, and reporting templates as stipulated in active FLAs. </p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>University Degree in international relations, social sciences, business administration, economics, or another relevant academic area.</p><p>Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in humanitarian operations or project implementation. Experience with field monitoring and data checking is required.</p><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for data verification), familiarity with digital mobile data collection tools, and strong teamwork skills. Basic awareness of cash-based transfers and biometric beneficiary registration databases (such as SCOPE) is highly desirable.</p><p>Fluency (Level C) in written and spoken English is required. Working knowledge of Arabic is a significant operational advantage.</p>

<p>Yemen remains one of the world s most severe humanitarian crises, after more than a decade of conflict, economic decline, climate shocks, and political instability. In 2026, over two-thirds of the population require humanitarian assistance, including 9.4 million people identified as most in need of life-saving support.</p>
<p>The health system is under extreme strain, with only 59.3% of health facilities fully operational and 19.3 million people requiring healthcare services, including more than 660,000 pregnant women in need of urgent care. Cholera continues to pose a major public health challenge, adding pressure to an already weakened system.</p>
<p>The operational environment remains highly volatile, marked by security incidents, service disruptions, funding cuts, and economic challenges that regularly affect humanitarian activities.</p>
<p>M decins du Monde operates across northern and southern Yemen, with a coordination office in Sana a and field offices in Aden and Marib. Its interventions focus on two strategic priorities:</p>

<li>Supporting 29 health facilities to deliver primary healthcare services, including outpatient care, vaccination, nutrition, and reproductive health.</li>
<li>Providing mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) through healthcare facilities and community-based networks trained in identification, referral, and awareness-raising activities.</li>

<p> <strong>About the role</strong> </p>
<p>As MHPSS coordinator you will be in charge of overseeing all MdM s MHPSS programming for the Yemen mission. You will contribute to proposal writing and development of new projects or concepts as per MdM s mandate. You will also take part in the country strategy elaboration for the MHPSS sector, led by the general coordinator. </p>

<p>Under the supervision of the general coordinator and in close collaboration with the mental health advisor, you will provide technical leadership and functional management to the MHPSS Officers based in Sana a, Aden and Marib.</p>
<p>Working closely with other MdM departments, local NGO partners and focal points within the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MoPHP), you will support the implementation, coordination and monitoring of activities aimed at integrating Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) components across MdM programmes.</p>

To deliver large-scale assistance safely, efficiently, and accountably, WFP relies heavily on its Cash-Based Transfer (CBT) and Identity Management (IDM) delivery infrastructure to meet acute food security and nutrition needs. The position is based in the WFP, Yemen country office and reports directly to the National Officer of the CBT Unit under the overall supervision of the Head of the CBT/IDM Unit. The incumbent supports the technical implementation, tracking, reconciliation, and coordination of CBT activities. Pipeline Reporting & Information Consistency: Gather, consolidate, and clean monthly CBT distribution data for immediate integration into the centralized Country Office pipeline report. Draft accurate, time-sensitive briefs to enable data-driven decision-making by senior management and external stakeholders. CBT Working Group Secretariat: Serve as the designated Secretariat for the WFP Cash-Based Transfer Working Group (CBT WG) in the Country office. The VAM unit manages and analyzes a wide range of datasets and produces regular analytical products, including monthly food security updates, quarterly food security and market monitoring and market functionality assessments. Through rigorous data collection, analysis, and reporting, the unit plays a central role in informing WFP's response and supporting humanitarian decision-making across Yemen. JOB PURPOSE: The VAM Officer (Assessments) will support the planning, design, implementation, and coordination of food security, market functionality, prices, rapid emergency, beneficiary targeting validation, and other quantitative and qualitative assessments conducted by WFP Yemen. The position is responsible for ensuring the collection and analysis of high-quality data to generate timely and reliable evidence on food security, humanitarian needs, market functionality, population vulnerabilities, and the effectiveness of targeting approaches and WFP interventions. The incumbent will coordinate all stages of assessments, from methodology and questionnaire design through data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting, ensuring adherence to WFP standards and best practices. This portfolio approach aligns with the Area-Based Development (ABD) framework, ensuring that local priorities, as articulated in Governorate Economic and Social Development Plans, are effectively addressed.<br> The incumbent will report to the UNDP Team Leader -- Governance & Peacebuilding Portfolio and will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management to the combined project team.<br> The role requires exceptional leadership, strategic coordination, and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver results across multiple complex and fragile environments.</p><br> <p>UNDP adopts a portfolio approach to accommodate changing business needs and leverage linkages across interventions to achieve its strategic goals. Therefore, UNDP personnel are expected to work across units, functions, teams, and projects in multidisciplinary teams in order to enhance and enable horizontal collaboration.<br> </p><br> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><br> <p>1.) Provide strategic directions to the project teams for efficient implementation of activities across the integrated projects:<br> • Provide overall strategic leadership and direction to the project teams for the RESOLVE, LoGABD, and SANABEL projects to ensure effective and timely implementation of activities in line with respective project objectives, results frameworks, and workplans.<br> • Lead strategic planning and ensure alignment of all project implementation with UNDP corporate priorities, donor requirements (SDC, EU), national development priorities, and the Area-Based Development (ABD) framework.<br> • Translate project goals into clear operational priorities, deliverables, and implementation milestones, ensuring complementarity and identifying synergies between the projects.<br> • Ensure effective coordination and integration across project components to maximize synergies, avoid duplication, and promote efficiency.<br> • Promote results-based management and ensure timely identification and resolution of implementation bottlenecks across the portfolio.<br> • Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and solution-oriented team environment that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.<br> </p><br> <p>2.) Oversee and manage the projects on a day-to-day basis, including achievement of financial and substantive targets and results, in line with corporate standards and guidance: <br> • Lead day-to-day management of the combined programme, ensuring delivery of outputs and achievement of project targets within approved timelines and budgets for RESOLVE, LoGABD, and SANABEL.<br> • Develop, implement, and monitor annual work plans, procurement plans, budgets, and activity schedules for each project.<br> • Ensure compliance with UNDP rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and specific donor requirements (SDC, EU).<br> • Monitor project expenditures and ensure efficient utilization of financial resources across all three projects.<br> • Oversee procurement, contract management, and project operational processes for the entire portfolio.<br> • Supervise project personnel, consultants, and technical experts and ensure quality performance and delivery across all projects.<br> • Identify and mitigate operational, programmatic, fiduciary, and contextual risks affecting project implementation, including those specific to each project context.<br> • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project progress, results, risks, and challenges to donors and UNDP management.<br> </p><br> <p>3.) Build and manage partnerships<br> • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including: (i) government institutions at national (MoLA, MoPIC, MoA, MoF, etc.) and sub-national levels (Governorates, Districts, line ministries), (ii) development partners and donors (SDC, EU, FAO), and (iii) implementing partners and other stakeholders.<br> • Promote strategic partnerships to enhance project implementation, sustainability, and impact, particularly through the operationalization of Local Economic Development Councils (LEDCs) and Local Development Funds (LDFs).<br> • Facilitate coordination and collaboration among relevant stakeholders across the governance and economic recovery sectors to ensure alignment and complementarity of interventions.<br> • Represent the projects in meetings, consultations, and coordination forums with donors (SDC, EU), government counterparts, and other partners as required.<br> • Support policy dialogue and strengthen institutional collaboration on governance, economic recovery, and systems reform.<br> </p><br> <p>4.) Facilitate knowledge management and promote gender equality and women’s empowerment<br> • Promote effective knowledge management and institutional learning within the programme.<br> • Document lessons learned, best practices, and key achievements from all three projects to support adaptive management and continuous improvement.<br> • Facilitate knowledge sharing among project stakeholders, partners, and relevant institutions across the governance and resilience sectors.<br> • Ensure project knowledge products, reports, and technical outputs are well documented and disseminated appropriately.<br> • Support institutionalization of knowledge and sustainability of project results through strengthened systems and local capacities.<br> • Ensure gender equality and women's empowerment principles are integrated into project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting across the entire portfolio.<br> • Promote inclusive approaches that ensure meaningful participation of women, youth, IDPs, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups in all project activities.<br> • Support gender-responsive programming and contribute to equitable access to project benefits and opportunities.<br> • Ensure project interventions contribute to advancing inclusion, equality, and non-discrimination<br> </p><br> <p>5.)
