With Country Offices (COs) reporting directly to the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer (DED&COO), the need for a streamlined, coherent, and responsive flow of strategic and operational information is essential to stay ahead of the curve by preparing and responding to current and future emergencies in a changing humanitarian environment. The Economic Recovery Coordinator has the overall responsibility for designing, coordinating, supporting, and representing DRC's Economic Recovery program in Yemen in external coordination mechanisms (as well as a member of the Cash Consortium for Yemen) and for providing technical guidance and strategic directions to DRC teams operating across the country.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><p>Technical Oversight</p><ul><li>Develop economic recovery program strategy and priorities based on thorough understanding of needs and context, aligned with DRC s mandate and regional/global strategies.
