<p>Key Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><p>1. Engineering and Project Management Support</p><p><br></p><p>Provide engineering and project management support for WFP facilities, premises and infrastructure projects through the application of best practices, innovative technologies and engineering principles.</p><p>Conduct technical assessments and develop evidence-based recommendations to improve the suitability, safety, sustainability, functionality, and operational efficiency of WFP infrastructure.</p><p>Prepare engineering designs, drawings, technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost estimates and other technical documentation required for structural maintenance, renovation and construction projects.</p><p>Participate in technical and design reviews and recommend practical, innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions for new and existing facilities including the resilience programme-related facilities.</p><p>Support the planning, implementation, monitoring and quality assurance of engineering, rehabilitation, maintenance and construction projects within WFP premises.</p><p>Participate in technical evaluations during procurement processes by developing technical requirements, conducting technical evaluation and analyzing contractors’ and suppliers’ technical proposals.</p><p>Monitor project implementation progress, identify engineering risks and bottlenecks, and recommend corrective and preventive measures to ensure timely and successful project delivery.</p><p>Support the preparation, implementation and technical monitoring of School Feeding infrastructure projects, Food For Assets (FFA) programme, Healthy Kitchens projects and other programme-related engineering activities.</p><p>Prepare technical reports, project updates, engineering analyses and maintain engineering records, databases and documentation to support informed decision-making and reporting requirements.</p><p>Promote environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, climate-resilient practices, and business continuity considerations in engineering solutions and infrastructure projects.</p><p><br></p><p>2.
