Additionally, the officer will follow up on the attendance of the health workers, and collect their attendance sheets to raise the payment of their incentives every month.</li> <li>Ensure all the activities are accomplished as per the detailed implementation plan (DIP), with continuous and regular referral to the line manager for the guidance and support.</li> <li>With Pharmacist officer support, prepare procurement plan for medical items and process it after getting approval from senior managers when required, and this mainly will depend on the consumption reports, and through analyzing the data of programs within the health facilities.</li> <li>Ensure proper management of the provided assets, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and nutritional commodities. This will include rational use of medicines, follow-up stock movement through stock cards and consumption rate, and ensuring the quality of warehouse management at the HFs level.</li> <li>Ensure timely and quality implementation of activities in compliance with the defined project and Country Strategy as per the SCI and donor guidelines.</li> <li>Ensure proper communication, coordination, and harmonization of tools with the different stakeholders involved in health /nutrition activities. Ensure minimum standards are maintained in accordance with humanitarian relief and MoPH guidelines. </li> <li>Conduct the Health Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on a monthly basis, and ensure to sharing the assessments and ways of improvement with the Project’s coordinator. All the documents must be archived, and fully documented.</li> <li>Provide technical support to H&N project assistants, partners, and government authorities on the planning, implementation, and management of the Nutrition and Health programs.</li> <li>Attend weekly meetings with Health and Nutrition project staff, to monitor progress in implementation, exchange information, discuss challenges and plan forward. </li> <li>Ensure that staff responsibilities are clearly defined, and understood and objectives are set against work plans and regularly monitored.</li> <li>Ensure that staff at health facilities perform well and are monitored daily to fulfill the required indicators of the program.</li> <li>Maintain and strengthen established links with NGOs and other agencies including government ministries and agencies. <p><br></p><p>Brief about the Project</p><p>The THRIVE Project has been developed alongside the DG MENA-WASL Project to strengthen climate-resilient livelihoods and inclusive agriculture systems in Taiz Governorate through an integrated watershed management approach. The program adopts an area-based strategy that recognizes the interdependence between natural resources, agriculture production, local institutions and market systems. The project is implemented by a consortium of international and national partners under the leadership of SI, alongside BCFHD and Al Tawasul. Under the SDC-funded component, the project directly supports efforts to improve local market resilience, agriculture production and gender equity.</p><p>The THRIVE Project requires an implementation-oriented assessment to better understand the opportunities, barriers, and enabling conditions for women's economic empowerment within the target districts.</p><p>Objectives of the Consultancy Assignment</p><p>The overall objective of this assignment is to conduct a comprehensive Women's Economic Empowerment, Agency and Enterprise Ecosystem Assessment that generates the evidence required to strengthen women's economic inclusion and inform the THRIVE Project's implementation. Specifically, the assessment aims to:</p><ul><li>Assess women's roles, participation, leadership, agency, bargaining power, and decision-making across relevant agricultural and livestock activities, value-chain functions, post-harvest activities, value addition and enterprise development with a focus on the priority value chains selected through the program process.</li><li>Assess women's access to and control over productive assets, natural resources, agricultural inputs, technologies, extension services, information, financial services, VSLAs, enterprise financing, and digital financial ecosystems, and identify barriers to their economic participation, financial inclusion, and resilience.</li><li>Analyse the social, institutional, cultural, household and gender-related factors influencing women's economic empowerment, including gender norms, mobility restrictions, unpaid care responsibilities, literacy and digital literacy, intra-household decision-making, control over resources and income.</li><li>Identify the specific constraints, risks, vulnerabilities, and economic opportunities affecting women from different social groups, including female-headed households, young women, women with disabilities, IDPs, Muhamasheen communities, and women breadwinners.</li><li>Assess safeguarding, economic violence, exploitation, indebtedness, exclusion, elite capture, and other risks affecting women's safe participation in livelihoods, enterprise development, financial inclusion, and market systems.</li><li>Assess and map the gender-relevant enterprise and financial ecosystem influencing women's economic empowerment, identifying practical opportunities for sustainable market engagement and partnership.</li><li>Identify evidence-based pathways for beneficiary targeting, sequencing, graduation, financial inclusion, market integration, institutional coordination and adaptive program implementation.</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities of the Consultant (Methodology, Scope of Service, Tasks)</p><p>Methodology: The assessment shall apply an integrated women's economic empowerment and market-systems analytical framework that distinguishes: (i) access to, use of and control over resources and services; (ii) participation, influence, leadership and collective voice; (iii) entrepreneurial interest, readiness and commercial feasibility; and (iv) immediate constraints and their underlying household, institutional and market-system causes. One of these services is Energy services. Our client will be responsible for the design and implementation works of PV solar systems and diesel gensets that will increase the targeted facilities reliability and service capacity. All of that to be done ensuring highest standards in design, and respect of state of the art requirements for aesthetics, safety and sustainability. To hire professional Consultant Engineer able to provide a variety of engineering services required by the Our client under instructions and directions of the Project Manager, Renewable Energy Specialist and City Engineer. The engineering services desired include, but are not limited to:</p><p>Role objectives The scope is to prepare technical designs, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documents of solar system and/or genset system solutions to target facilities in accordance with UNOPS guidelines and standards. This will include but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Carry out field visits to target facilities - which may include traveling to various governates- to:</li><ul><li>a. Inspect and verify the actual needs;</li><li>b. Consult with the facility s management and administration about the expected needs.</li><li>c. Cooperate with electrical engineer to identify the required space for system required components such as Solar PV panels, distribution and control boards, batteries, Diesel generators and fuel tanks.</li><li>d. Cooperate with the electrical engineer to Identify possible cable routs and any possible obstacles.</li><li>e. Instruments. The engineer shall be familiar with measurement instruments and apparatus required for such assignment including Surveying Equipment such as TOTAL STATIONS.</li></ul><li>Prepare appropriate civil and steek structural designs for target facilities based on proposed energy system either solar or gensets - and according to site suitability. This will include the following:</li><ul><li>a. A full description of the target facility including its location (with GIS coordinates), existing capacity, functionality, provide photograph for the available areas for the required civil and steel structure either rooftop or on ground.</li><li>b. AutoCAD drawings for the available areas presenting the south direction and azimuth, illustrating the proposed location and details for the panels, steel structure(s), Battey or Generator rooms.</li><li>c. This role is classified as requiring standard pre-employment checks and enhanced due diligence.</p><p>The Program Manager (Health and Nutrition) will lead Relief International s integrated health and nutrition portfolio in Yemen, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based programming that responds to humanitarian needs and delivers lasting impact. Working closely with project teams, government stakeholders, donors and partners, you will provide technical and managerial leadership across program design, implementation, quality assurance, capacity strengthening and resource mobilization.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><p>This role includes the following responsibilities.</p><ul><li>Lead and manage RI s health and nutrition programme portfolio, ensuring quality implementation, achievement of targets and effective team performance.</li><li>Provide technical leadership across health and nutrition interventions, strengthening service quality, capacity development, monitoring systems and adherence to international standards.</li><li>Oversee programme monitoring, learning and reporting processes, ensuring evidence-based decision making and continuous programme improvement.</li><li>Support programme growth through assessments, proposal development, donor engagement and contribution to fundraising initiatives.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with government counterparts, donors, clusters, UN agencies and other stakeholders.</li></ul><p>This role includes regular travel to programme locations within Yemen.</p><p>Research shows that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single requirement. If you re excited about this role, but your experience doesn t align with every criteria described, we encourage you to apply anyway, you could be exactly what we need!</p><p><br></p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p><b>You will bring the following experience and skills.</b></p><ul><li>Advanced degree in a health or nutrition-related field, such as Public Health, Medicine, Nursing or a related discipline.</li><li>Substantial proven experience working in public health and health programming within humanitarian and/or development settings.</li><li>Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more areas including primary health care, child health, reproductive health, health systems strengthening, research or evaluation.</li><li>Strong experience in programme management, project design, proposal development, fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity strengthening.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and sectors.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent written and spoken English is essential.</li></ul><p>Familiarity with WASH, Protection or Food Security and Livelihoods programming, and knowledge of UN and international emergency response systems, are desirable.</p><p></p></section>
