<p>The RRM Coordinator shall be responsible for coordinating the RRM response implemented by partners. The primary function of the RRM Coordinator will be to ensure quality implementation of the RRM. The mechanism prepositions and distributes emergency lifesaving commodities to populations affected by new crisis within 72 hours of trigger. The position holder will develop strong, collaborative relationships across the organization and with external partners including authorities and RRM implementing partners; ensure the application of effective programme planning, monitoring and evaluation principles; identify bottlenecks in RRM implementation and devise strategies to address them; and provide leadership to ensure that technical knowledge is updated and disseminated for effective implementation. This includes the Performance management process; setting clear goals aligned to country strategy and priorities, and to follow up and support staff s achievement.</li><li>Responsible for key processes as workforce planning, recruitment, staff induction and development and ensure Duty of Care for own staff</li><li>To be responsible for the operational support to colleagues with RRM responsibilities and coordinate the implementation of relevant RRM trainings including induction of new staff and partners to ensure they meet NRC s relevant standards. Also contribute to the induction of new staff and implementing partners with a role in the RRM processes</li><li>Together with implementing partners, identify the most rapid and effective approaches for providing RRM assistance to the people affected by new shocks and crisis.</li><li>Accountability for planning and start-up of RRM Programme activities, through the deliverance of high-quality activities in line with NRC s mission statement and policies.</li><li>Based on assessments, coordination and available resources, and in consultation with affected communities, select and implement programme mechanisms suited to the humanitarian context and ensure the implementation of relevant technology and methods.</li><li>Provide input on programme plans relevant to RRM objectives, and operational constraints to RRM response, as applicable.</li><li>Responsible for facilitating the development of quality proposals, budgets and donor reports as well as for approved project compliance control (i.e. quality, timeliness, use of resources, donor commitments).</li><li>Actively participate in coordination mechanisms involving UN agencies, other NGOs, government authorities, and local organizations, and to report back to the line manager and partners on the discussions and outcomes.</li><li>Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures, and a specific responsibility for the functions policies and procedures</li></ul><h2>Specific responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Overall coordination and oversight of emergency response projects covering different areas and interventions. This includes coordinating prioritization and validation process for interventions, developing detailed activity plans and budgets for proper delegation to the partners responsible of the implementation.</li><li>Coordinate the preparation and consolidation of periodic progress reports, updates, and other documentation related to the RRM response.</li><li>Coordinate the design, development, and proposal writing of RRM emergency response projects, in collaboration with field teams, Area Managers, technical advisers, support departments, and implementing partners.</li><li>Contribute to business development for the RRM portfolio by leading programme design, concept note development, proposal writing, and input into donor engagement materials, in coordination with relevant technical advisers and partners.</li><li>Contribute to context analysis and development of scenarios for potential displacements in relation to the emergency response and sharing this information to relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Support the development, review, and implementation of contingency plans and RRM emergency response plans, including management and follow-up of associated budgets where applicable.</li><li>Monitor humanitarian developments, displacement trends, access constraints, and emerging emergency needs to inform timely adjustments to RRM activities, approaches, and response modalities.</li><li>Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders to support principled access, secure required approvals, resolve operational bottlenecks, and enable timely implementation of RRM activities.</li><li>Support access negotiations in coordination with Area Management, Access, Safety and Security, and programme teams, ensuring that implementation remains aligned with humanitarian principles, NRC policies, and donor requirements.</li><li><br></li></ul>
