<br><b>About the mission</b><br>SI opened its mission in Yemen in 2017, establishing its coordination in Aden. Since then, SI expanded the geographical scope of its intervention, and established offices in Al Mokha, Taizz and Marib, and operational presence in Hodeidah, Lahj, Dahle, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramout Governorates. The mission has a forecasted budget of about 21M Euros for the year 2024. Under its FSL portfolio, SI distributes unconditional, multi-purpose cash to IDPs and host communities, support the livelihood component by supporting in Income Generating activities. SI has been one of the first humanitarian actors to access the West Coast and remains as of today positioned in hard-to-reach areas close to the frontline of Marib, Hodeidah and Maqbanah. SI also covers accommodation costs and travel expenses between the expatriate's country of origin and the place of assignment. Breaks: During the assignment, a system of alternation between work and time off is implemented at the rate of 7 working days every two months (with a USD 850 break allowance, allocated by Sl).
