About SDF:
The Sustainable Development Foundation (SDF) is a non-governmental, voluntary, independent organization established in March 2015, officially registered at the Ministry of Social Affairs as per license (99). As SDF has been present in Yemen since 2015, it has experience implementing emergency child protection and education responses, including women and youth empowerment. SDF has experience in handling large grants from international donors, such as UNDP, UNHCR, OCHA, WHO, SCI, WFP, and ZOA. The Foundation has excellent national-level relations and has experience in coordinating with both national and international NGOs. It has offices, staff, and community-based committees in Hajjah, Sana'a, Ibb, Hudidah, Dhamar, Al-Bayda’a, Almahweet, Aden, and Hadramout as well as solid experiences engaging with local communities from whom it gained acceptance and with whom it has collaborated in the past. In addition to that, SDF creates livelihood opportunities and community-based protection committees. Last but not least, the foundation is mainly focused on Sustainable Development Goals and Humanitarian Response.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize educational and recreational plans, strategies, and events.
- Supervise children and ensure participant engagement in activities within a child-friendly space.
- Provide psychosocial support to participants.
- Listen to their issues and needs, helping them to overcome challenges.
- Ensure the physical and psychological safety of children.
- Promote values of respect and cooperation among individuals.
- Build positive relationships with parents.
- Involve them in activities and explain the objectives of the child-friendly space.
- Identify children’s needs and adapt activities accordingly.
- Use feedback to improve programs and prepare reports.
- Provide guidance and advice to help achieve goals.
- Encourage the development of life skills.
- Encourage participants to express themselves through arts and creative activities.
- Support innovation in ideas for activities provided to children.
- Design training programs suited to the needs of the target.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree in any related Field
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Skilled in report writing.
- Ability to work well with children.
- Experience in implementing various activities in child-friendly spaces.
- High capacity for understanding and perception.
- Ability to think creatively and critically.
- Strong communication skills with others.
