Project Summary

The School Kitchens Project aims to provide healthy and nutritious meals to school students, targeting 7,000 male and female students in Sana’a and Al-Hodeidah Governorate. The project is funded by the World Food Program (WFP) and implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, represented by the School Feeding and Humanitarian Relief Program (SFHRP).

This initiative seeks to improve students' nutritional intake, enhance their overall health, and foster a better learning environment by addressing food security challenges in schools.

Job Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project activities in Hodeidah Governorate to ensure efficient and effective implementation in line with the timelines and standards. The role includes overseeing daily project operations, supporting field teams, and submitting regular reports to the central management to achieve the project objectives in the governorate.

  • Ensure the implementation of daily project activities in the governorate according to the set plans.

  • Act as a liaison between central management and the field team in Hodeidah.
  • العمل كحلقة وصل بين الإدارة المركزية والفريق الميداني في الحديدة.
• Managing Field Teams | إدارة الفرق الميدانية
  • Coordinate the tasks of field teams, including chefs, packaging specialists, and meal delivery personnel.
  • تنسيق مهام الفرق الميدانية مثل فرق الطهاة، مختصي التغليف، ومختصي ترحيل الوجبات.
  • Monitor the performance of the field team and provide necessary guidance to ensure efficiency and quality.

  • Submit daily and weekly reports on the project's progress in Hodeidah.

  • Ensure the availability of food supplies and equipment in field locations in coordination with procurement and logistics teams.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Community Development, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in humanitarian or developmental projects.
