And share all the means of verification (MoVs) of the training with the Data Management Officer.</li> <li>Raise all the required Purchase Requests of the project as per the plan and available budget, ensure tracking of the process, and follow up with them till the stage of the distribution, and paying to the suppliers.</li> <li>Provide technical support to the health workers at the field level, ensure the quality of service provision is in place, and keep improving the health workers throughout the On-the-Job training. Additionally, the officer will follow up on the attendance of the health workers, and collect their attendance sheets to raise the payment of their incentives every month.</li> <li>Ensure all the activities are accomplished as per the detailed implementation plan (DIP), with continuous and regular referral to the line manager for the guidance and support.</li> <li>With Pharmacist officer support, prepare procurement plan for medical items and process it after getting approval from senior managers when required, and this mainly will depend on the consumption reports, and through analyzing the data of programs within the health facilities.</li> <li>Ensure proper management of the provided assets, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and nutritional commodities. This will include rational use of medicines, follow-up stock movement through stock cards and consumption rate, and ensuring the quality of warehouse management at the HFs level.</li> <li>Ensure timely and quality implementation of activities in compliance with the defined project and Country Strategy as per the SCI and donor guidelines.</li> <li>Ensure proper communication, coordination, and harmonization of tools with the different stakeholders involved in health /nutrition activities. Ensure minimum standards are maintained in accordance with humanitarian relief and MoPH guidelines. </li> <li>Conduct the Health Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on a monthly basis, and ensure to sharing the assessments and ways of improvement with the Project’s coordinator. All the documents must be archived, and fully documented.</li> <li>Provide technical support to H&N project assistants, partners, and government authorities on the planning, implementation, and management of the Nutrition and Health programs.</li> <li>Attend weekly meetings with Health and Nutrition project staff, to monitor progress in implementation, exchange information, discuss challenges and plan forward. </li> <li>Ensure that staff responsibilities are clearly defined, and understood and objectives are set against work plans and regularly monitored.</li> <li>Ensure that staff at health facilities perform well and are monitored daily to fulfill the required indicators of the program.</li> <li>Maintain and strengthen established links with NGOs and other agencies including government ministries and agencies. And build a good relationship with district health offices by multiple meetings, and inviting them into joint supportive supervision visits.</li> <li>Coordinate with logistics, administration, and finance units to procure all equipment, supplies, and materials required to implement the project activities, ensuring cost efficiency and accountability in compliance with SCI and donor regulations and procedures.</li> <li>Ensure effective and efficient use of all SC resources to keep costs low and ensure safety in the workplace.</li> <li>Provide support and work closely with the MEAL team in carrying out assessments and evaluations, accountability, and information sharing.</li> <li>Comply with SC policies and practices with respect to child protection, code of conduct, child safeguarding, health and safety, equal opportunity, and other relevant policies and procedures.</li> <li>Perform any other tasks as required by the line manager or technical manager that are related to the position, or when there is an urgent situation that requires all team efforts.</li> <li>Embed counter-fraud and ethical controls in all operational processes, ensuring compliance with donor and legal requirements, while collaborating with Finance and Counter-Fraud teams to mitigate risks and conduct assessments for high-value programs</li> <li>Bachelor in Medicine or Public Health and Nutrition/ public health professional or, Bachelor in medical science (pharmacy, Medical Assistance, Nurse, laboratory, Nutrition, etc) with at least 3 years experience in a similar position.</li> <li>At least 3 years experience in implementing emergency health and nutrition programs with NGOs or INGOs (Required).</li> <li>Good writing and speaking English skills (Required).</li> <li>Training courses or experiences in CMAM, IYCF, EMONC, EPI, and IMCI are highly (Preferred). </li> <li>Experience in staff training and capacity building preferred by having a TOT course (Preferred).</li> <li>Skills and experience in project management or getting similar certificates (Preferred).</li> <li>Understanding rights-based approaches and participatory concepts and practical experience in a similar context. </li> <li>Ability to communicate and maintain tactful relations with relevant local authorities in political and militarily sensitive environments. </li> <li>Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels, taking into account cultural and language difficulties. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Overview of position Our client is undertaking a project that aims to restore access to critical urban service in selected cities within the Republic of Yemen under Yemen Integrated Urban Services Emergency Project Phase two (YIUSEP-II) . One of these services is Energy services. Our client will be responsible for the design and implementation works of PV solar systems and diesel gensets that will increase the targeted facilities reliability and service capacity. All of that to be done ensuring highest standards in design, and respect of state of the art requirements for aesthetics, safety and sustainability. To hire professional Consultant Engineer able to provide a variety of engineering services required by the Our client under instructions and directions of the Project Manager, Renewable Energy Specialist and City Engineer. The engineering services desired include, but are not limited to:</p><p>Role objectives The scope is to prepare technical designs, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documents of solar system and/or genset system solutions to target facilities in accordance with UNOPS guidelines and standards. This will include but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Carry out field visits to target facilities - which may include traveling to various governates- to:</li><ul><li>a. Inspect and verify the actual needs;</li><li>b. Consult with the facility s management and administration about the expected needs.</li><li>c. Cooperate with electrical engineer to identify the required space for system required components such as Solar PV panels, distribution and control boards, batteries, Diesel generators and fuel tanks.</li><li>d. A full description of the target facility including its location (with GIS coordinates), existing capacity, functionality, provide photograph for the available areas for the required civil and steel structure either rooftop or on ground.</li><li>b. AutoCAD drawings for the available areas presenting the south direction and azimuth, illustrating the proposed location and details for the panels, steel structure(s), Battey or Generator rooms.</li><li>c. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) maintains a substantial presence there, with 4 international and approximately 127 national staff members.
