<br><b>About the mission</b><br>SI opened its mission in Yemen in 2017, establishing its coordination in Aden. Since then, SI expanded the geographical scope of its intervention, and established offices in Al Mokha, Taizz and Marib, and operational presence in Hodeidah, Lahj, Dahle, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramout Governorates. The mission has a forecasted budget of about 21M Euros for the year 2024. It operates from Aden, where the coordination is based, and 4 operational field bases located in Taiz, Marib and Al Mokha with Emergency team also stationed in Aden. The mission is composed of approx. 20 expatriates and about 150 national staffs. Objectives for the mission for 2024 is to build on its Emergency Response capacity to expand in hard-to-reach areas and develop qualitative interventions responding to emergency and protracted needs, while enhancing resilience. SI is currently undertaking 11 different projects in Yemen, financed respectively by the ECHO, BHA, UN-OCHA, CDCS, SDC, DUTCH MOFA, CIAA and DG INTPA. SI implements emergency and resilience WASH programs with activities of water trucking, rehabilitation of water network, construction of emergency latrines and showers, distribution of hygiene kits, hygiene promotion, and cleaning campaigns. Under its FSL portfolio, SI distributes unconditional, multi-purpose cash to IDPs and host communities, support the livelihood component by supporting in Income Generating activities. SI has been one of the first humanitarian actors to access the West Coast and remains as of today positioned in hard-to-reach areas close to the frontline of Marib, Hodeidah and Maqbanah. SI aims at maintaining this positioning and further expanding its presence.<br>About the job<br>General objective:<br>Ensure proper grants' management from inception phase to final reporting. Donors are not present in-Country and representation takes place remotely or through visits in Amman or other locations. Humanitarian funding is expected to decrease, while development donors have increasingly expressed interest to continue to support (e.g. EU, SDC). <p><br></p> <p> </p> <p> <b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</b> (Under the supervision of Head of Finance, Head of Finance OIC and respective International Finance Officer):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure delivery of critical processes, exercises and Programme, including but not limited to FSI, CBT, UNHAS, BSP, Cost recovery, Donor reporting and other core finance activities, to ensure WFP is able to quickly respond in a timely manner.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate and coordinate in ensuring the validity of FSI for Yemen Country Office.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate and support the implementation of the recommendations from FSI exercise.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor and analyses the factors impacting exchange rate, including USD and YER liquidity in the country.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate the required budget, monitor spending and unspent balances for BSP, cost recovery projects and expiring contributions, including closure of open items.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead and coordinate monthly UNHAS, BSP, cost recovery reconciliation and closure of long outstanding open items.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead and coordinate required Country Office Donor Reporting.</p> </li> <li> <p>Report on key data for financial status and outcomes of projects in accordance with corporate governance requirements, cost to serve to beneficiaries, ensuring accuracy, deadlines, and accounting processes are complied with.</p> </li> <li> <p>Track and collate data to support others to improve policies, systems and procedures in order to minimize financial risks, improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, and ensure services are aligned with business objectives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to the delivery of financial controls and insight into WFP performance, supporting periodic risk and internal control assessments to identify areas which may present potential audit, compliance or financial risks. </p> </li> <li> <p>Guide and supervise more junior staff, acting as a point of referral and supporting them with more complex analysis and queries.</p> </li> <li> <p>Represent unit/CO at internal meetings, external meetings and events with other UN agencies, banks and other financial institutions, or other partners and entities as required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Fill in capacity gaps in any stream of Finance function.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <b>DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:</b> <br>Ensure accuracy and timely delivery in all tasks performed; Produce organized, accurate and well documented records confirming required format with well analyzed data; improve business processes.</p> <p> </p> <p> <b>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</b> </p> <p> </p> <p> <b>Education</b>: University degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant fields, Advanced University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields, or First University degree in the same subject(s) with additional years of related work experience plus membership in an international recognized professional accountancy body such as Association of Chartered, Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Institute of Certified Public Accounts (ICPA)or equivalent.</p> <p> </p> <p> <b>Experience:</b> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Total relevant 5 years of experience including 1 year of Professional experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>UN experience in working in the finance, project management, in humanitarian and development context are preferrable. </p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><br></p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

<p><span><span>The RRM Coordinator shall be responsible for coordinating the RRM response implemented by partners. The primary function of the RRM Coordinator will be to ensure quality implementation of the RRM. The mechanism prepositions and distributes emergency lifesaving commodities to populations affected by new crisis within 72 hours of trigger. <p><span><span>The purpose of the ICLA Officer– Yemen Amran Area/ Hodiedah Gov position is to ensure the qualitative implementation of NRC’s ICLA programme in targeted locations, while maintaining safe, inclusive, and accountable protection practices.
