<p>The WASH/Shelter Team Leader is responsible for leading the qualitative implementation of NRC’s Shelter and WASH programme in targeted displacement sites. <p> JOB CONTEXT: HI Yemen is operating in whole of Yemen (both South and North) with main offices in Sana a and Aden and field offices in Hudaydah and Hajja in the North, and Mokha in the South of the country. As of June 2026, the Programme is implementing projects in 5 main Governorates- Sana a, Hajja and Hudaydah in the North and Aden, Taiz Governorates in the South of Yemen. The main projects are Health, protection, Prosthetic and Orthotic and humanitarian mine action. HI Yemen has funding from ECHO, SDC, BMZ, GAC and MOFA LUX. HI Yemen has been operating in Yemen since 2015, implementing humanitarian response across Yemen, providing assistance to people affected by Yemen conflicts and other disasters. YOUR MISSION: Reporting to the country director and in collaboration with HQ services, the logistics manager ensures the efficient management of logistics resources for the country under his or her responsibility. He or she is the point person for the country director and as such informs him or her of any problems that fall within his or her remit and suggests solutions. He or she participates actively in the phased reorganization of HI in the field. He or she is a key player in the rollout and implementation of HI's logistics standards, which consists in reworking the positioning of logistics at HI and affirming the principle of professional development. Overall oversight of Program Logistics Management Manager as a role model: embodies HI's values on a daily basis. Manager as coach for meaning: understands the strategy, makes it explicit, translates it into operational objectives for his or her team, leads the necessary changes.
