General Objective of the Job:
Leading the Foundation to achieve its goals, vision and mission through strategic management, strengthening relationships with partners, ensuring the implementation of the programs and projects with a positive impact, and working on the sustainability of financial and human resources to ensure the continuity of the Foundation and maximize its societal impact.
Main Responsibilities of the Executive Director:(but not limited to)
Strategic Planning and Performance Management :
- Developing and updating strategic plans in line with the Foundation's vision and mission.
- Monitoring and evaluating institutional performance and ensuring the achievement of strategic goals.
Managing Operational Processes:
- Supervising the implementation of the Foundation's daily activities and directing the various departments.
- Ensuring adherence to the specified time and quality standards in implementing projects and programs.
Human Resources Management:
- Developing human resources policies to ensure attracting competencies and developing internal capabilities.
- Leading and motivating the work team to achieve optimal performance and enhance the culture of cooperation.
Public Relations and Partnership Building Management:
- Representing the Foundation in official forums and local and international meetings.
- Developing strategic relationships with donor partners to ensure sustainable funding.
Financial Resources Management:
- Supervising the preparation and implementation of financial budgets.
- Monitoring financial performance and ensuring transparency in financial operations.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Ensuring the preparation of performance reports and financial reports and sharing them with the Board of Trustees and relevant parties.
- Evaluating the impact of projects and programs on the beneficiary community.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Proposing innovative initiatives and projects to enhance the Foundation's impact and sustainability
- Utilizing modern technology to improve institutional operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Development, Public Administration or a related field, or a Master's degree or specialized professional certificates such as MBA, PMP is an added advantage.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in leadership positions, preferably in the non-profit sector or development work.
- Proven experience in managing major projects and building strategic partnerships.
- Deep understanding of local and regional contexts relevant to the organization's work
