Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing the monitoring and evaluation plan in accordance with the indicators specified in the framework of the project at the level of all components of the project (rebuilding and qualifying the infrastructure of schools - training and capacity building for teachers, school principals and education officials - the services necessary for school students - community awareness activities, economic empowerment and livelihoods).
  • Developing methodological plans for executing project-related studies (needs assessment - baseline - midpoint - endpoint - impact assessment), implementing these studies, and suggesting necessary modifications to all project components based on the findings of
  • Developing and designing monitoring and evaluation tools according to the indicators specified in the logical framework of the project, at the level of all project components (reconstruction and rehabilitation of schools' infrastructure - training and capacity building for teachers, school principals, and education officials - necessary services for students - community awareness activities and economic empowerment and livelihood opportunities).
  • Conducting field visits to activity implementation sites and work locations for the purpose of monitoring and evaluation in accordance with the indicators specified in the logical framework of the project, at the level of all project components (reconstruction and rehabilitation of schools' infrastructure - training and capacity building for teachers, school principals, and education officials - necessary services for students - community awareness activities and economic empowerment and livelihood opportunities).
  • Transcribing data related to monitoring and evaluation into electronic databases according to the indicators specified in the logical framework of the project at the level of all project components (reconstruction and rehabilitation of schools' infrastructure - training and capacity building for teachers, school principals, and education officials - necessary services for students - community awareness activities and economic empowerment and livelihood opportunities.
  • Preparing periodic reports on the achievement and progress in achieving the project objectives (outputs - results - impact), proposing amendments to the work plans to address any failures in this, and determining effective communication channels.
  • Preparing complaints mechanisms and suggestions related to all components of the project (rebuilding and rehabilitating school infrastructure - training and capacity building for teachers, school principals and education officials - services needed for school students - community awareness activities, economic empowerment and livelihoods).
  • Supervising the awareness of the targeted communities of complaints and proposals related to all components of the project (rebuilding and qualifying the infrastructure of schools - training and capacity building for teachers, school principals and education officials - the services necessary for school students - community awareness activities, economic empowerment and livelihoods).
  • Receiving complaints and suggestions from target communities and implementing procedures for dealing with them and procedures for providing feedback to those submitting complaints, grievances and suggestions.
  • Enhancing the issue in general among all employees and beneficiaries in the areas of the impact of all components of the project by focusing on the access of the targeted societies of all information related to the project and then participation members of the targeted societies in all stages of the project as well All those responsible for deviations that may occur during the implementation of the project.
  • Determination and formulation of the lessons learned and work on them and best practices and success stories at the level of all components of the project (rebuilding and qualifying the infrastructure of schools - training and capacity building for teachers, school principals and education officials - the services necessary for school students - community awareness activities, economic empowerment and livelihoods).
  • Conducting studies to measure and assess the satisfaction level of beneficiaries with each component of the project (school infrastructure reconstruction and rehabilitation, training and capacity building for teachers and school administrators, services provided to students, community awareness activities, and economic empowerment and livelihood opportunities)..
  • Documenting and archiving all project documents and documentation related to monitoring and evaluation electronically and on paper.
  • Conduct regular follow-up and submit interim reports on project tracking indicators and monitoring and evaluation plans to the knowledge manager and the organization’s management
  • Supporting programs to follow up on the progress and impact of the project and their compatibility with the agreements
  • Responsible for devoting efforts to issue more professional and annual reports.
  • Cooperation and coordination with donors, government agencies, NGOs and other organizations on monitoring and evaluation issues.
  • Use different qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection, including organized and semi -organized interviews, main stakeholders interviews, in -depth interviews, group discussions, concentrated collective discussions, and direct observations as control and evaluation tools.
  • Monitor data quality and follow -up progress in project activities
  • Supervising the mechanism for recording notes and complaints, analyzing the verification process, reporting and following up cases until they are resolved.
  • Help in checking data and complaints and advice.
  • Providing support and guidance to the organization's work team in determining monitoring methodologies and identifying good practices.
  • Providing support and guidance to the organization's work team in monitoring and reporting responsibilities to ensure consistency with the requirements for preparing reports.
  • Prepare the chronic periodic work plans for the tasks specified above, raise and discuss them with the direct official
  • Preparing the periodic completion reports of the tasks specified above, uploading and discussing them with the direct official
  • Coordination with the relevant authorities related to the tasks specified above, under the supervision and technical support of the direct official.
  • Participate in all meetings related to the tasks specified above, under the supervision and technical support of the direct manager.
  • Doing everything assigned to him within his competence by the direct official    

Qualifications and Experiences

  • A  bachelor’s degree in the field of project management, business management, or any similar field.
  •  5 years’ experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation in an organization with funded projects.
  • Knowledge in the field of working in local and international humanitarian organizations.
  • The ability to work in difficult conditions and work under pressure.
  • Good communication and profeciency of Arabic and English, conversation and writing.
  • Professionalism on all Microsoft Office programs.
