Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering and Analysis

• Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with business stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and objectives
• Analyze current business processes, data flows, and system interfaces to identify areas for improvement
• Document functional and non-functional requirements in a clear and comprehensive manner
• Validate requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritize implementation

System Design and Architecture

• Develop logical and physical data models to support business requirements
• Design scalable and resilient system architectures leveraging appropriate technologies
• Specify integration points, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms between software components
• Create detailed technical specifications and process flows for software development

Collaboration and Coordination

• Work closely with software developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Partner with quality assurance teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate discussions between business and IT stakeholders to align on project goals and tradeoffs
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to project managers on scope, timeline, and risks
• Continuous Improvement
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation
• Propose enhancements to existing software products based on user feedback and market changes
• Document system changes, train end-users, and provide post-implementation support

Knowledge Management

• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and user manuals
• Share technical knowledge and best practices with the broader engineering team
• Mentor junior analysts and participate in the development of training programs
• Serve as a technical liaison between the software development and business operations teams

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role
• Strong understanding of system analysis methodologies (e.g., SDLC)
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
• Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration 
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common diagramming tools

Main Tasks

• Examining and testing existing systems and projects and identifying appropriate needs for them
• Talk to users, understanding and analyze their requirements
• Explaining the new characteristics and systems to costumers
• Testing the new systems and characteristics in them and ensuring their safety and achieving the appropriate standards for them
• Understanding the life cycle of systems development and working according to them
• Translating and drafting the needs of users in a common language that understands programmers and users
• Provide a picture of the feasibility and cost of projects in technical terms based on analysis and alternatives
• Communicate with users and submit offers to them and take approval from them
• Help users identify required changes or updates to systems
