* The Sheet Metal Engineer assumes complex responsibilities, including product reviews, manufacturing, and development of sheet metal components.
* Cooperates with mold maintenance and general maintenance teams in repairing and upgrading products to improve production.
* Performs stress and structural analysis to ensure product safety.
* Supervises the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal products.
* Ensures compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Troubleshoots and resolves problems related to sheet metal fabrication.
* Implements and maintains quality control procedures.
* Provides technical guidance and support for production.
* Develops and documents manufacturing processes and best practices.
* Stays abreast of the latest developments in sheet metal engineering and technology, and oversees the production of high-quality metal forming parts. This requires proficiency in advanced technologies such as computer-aided design (CAD) software and computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
