Background
Rofqa for Humanitarian Development Foundation is an independent, non- governmental,, non- profit foundation. It was established in 2009, . RHD was officially registered at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as per license 52/268.
Fields of work: WASH - Food security and livelihoods - Shelter - Nutrition - Education -Health - Protection. RHD has a strong and close relationship with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and Local authorities, RHD has also a good relationship and acceptance with the host communities, and we have great experience in implementing projects in most Yemeni regions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the program team to monitor the field and gather quality data, ensuring it aligns with project indicators and contributes to program improvement.
- Help build the team’s capacity by providing training and support to enhance their skills in data collection and monitoring processes.
- Take the lead in collecting reliable data, making sure all information is accurate and consistent, while maintaining high standards for monitoring.
- Provide continuous support in reviewing and preparing progress reports, offering insights and suggestions to improve program delivery.
- Organize learning sessions at the field level to promote reflection and ensure the team is always improving and adapting.
- Implement RHD's Complaints, Feedback, and Response mechanism, ensuring that beneficiaries' concerns are addressed and tracked effectively.
- Regularly collect and track beneficiaries’ information through surveys, ensuring the data is up to date and properly managed.
- Collect human-interest stories that highlight the impact of the program, helping to communicate successes to stakeholders.
- Manage and secure all project data, including beneficiaries’ information and program data, ensuring it is organized, accessible, and protected.
Position Description:
- Develop and manage the project's monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plans, working closely with the project team to design and implement effective data collection tools.
- Regularly collect, track, and monitor key performance indicators, ensuring all project metrics are on target and align with objectives.
- Keep track of project inputs, activities, processes, outcomes, and targets; analyze the data to assess progress and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Offer continuous support during field evaluations, ensuring that recommendations are followed up on and implemented in a timely manner.
- Oversee data collection and analysis processes, ensuring that progress and achievements are properly measured and in line with the M&E plan.
- Work closely with the IT officer to create and manage weekly, monthly, and final project reports that accurately reflect performance and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to prepare detailed monthly and final M&E reports, ensuring they align with project goals and timelines.
- Set up and manage the M&E system in close cooperation with the IT officer to ensure seamless tracking and accessibility of data for monitoring purposes.
- Write weekly reports and submit them to the Project Manager, providing updates on activities, progress, and any challenges that arise.
- Track all project activities using the M&E system, maintaining high standards to measure quality, progress, and results.
- Ensure that all project purchases and activities comply with RHD’s internal policies, promoting transparency and consistency.
- Take on any additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager, helping ensure the project runs smoothly and successfully.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in a related field (Business Administration, etc.) Master's degree in related field is preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation Management /Risk experience with background in risk analysis preferred.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (Speaking and Writing).
- Competence in using information Technology (IT) including Word, Excel and common packages such as DHIS, ONA, GBVIMS, SPIMS, SPSS, EXCEL, etc.
