Tasks and Responsibilities
- Order Follow-Up: Follow up with suppliers to track order status and resolve delivery delays.
- Document Organization: Organize procurement documents like contracts and invoices in a digital filing system. Invoice Verification: Verify that invoices match purchase orders for accuracy before payment processing. -
Vendor Communication: Contact suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve any issues.
- Review, record and prioritize purchasing requests, ensuring all supporting documentation is received, and funding is available, in order to enable the procurement of goods and services.
- Perform administrative procurement activities in a timely and efficient manner, to support.
- Professional staff in the acquisition of goods and services for efficient field operations.
- Compile data, prepare and distribute documents, to support successful procurement programs and operational activities, ensuring standard processes are followed.
- Review, record and prioritize purchasing requests, ensuring all supporting documentation is received, and funding is available, in order to enable the procurement of goods and services.
- Update, manage and maintain relevant databases and records, to ensure the information is accurate, organized, and available for others to access, and supports reporting requirements.
- Liaise with internal counterparts to support the alignment of procurement activities with wider programme and ensure a coherent approach to meeting food assistance needs.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experience in scanning and archiving
- Experience in Procurement and Computer skills.
- Experiences in (Excel) MICROSOFT
- Good in English and fluent in Arabic.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
