Taybah Foundation for Development (TFD):
Taybah Foundation for Development is a Yemeni development institution working in the areas of health and education. It was established in 1996 under the license of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 25. Taybah seeks to provide quality health and education services in partnership and cooperation with all concerned and interested parties in accordance with the development plans of local authorities.
Overall Purpose
The Hygiene Promotion Assistant will be responsible for supporting Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) soft activities at the field level. This includes actively participating in Community Committees (CCs) formation processes and Community Financial Management (CFM) establishment, conducting community mobilization and sensitization activities, contributing to the awareness of hygiene promotion activities, collecting weekly reports from Community Health Volunteers (CHVs), and supporting the identification of areas for potential interventions in the study area. The role also involves ensuring the availability of resources in line with project requirements

Duties and responsibilities
- She/he will be responsible on Supervise day-to-day program activities and report quickly to the Project Manager in case of problem or change
- Support the Project Manager in the preparation of weekly team planning and weekly progress reports
- Ensure that assigned activities are implemented according to program work plan and methodology validated by management
- Supervise on hygiene volunteers in IDPs sites day-to-day hygiene promotion activities and daily weekly report to the Project Manager .
- Participate to the rapid WASH response when required.
- Monitor work progress, quantity and quality for assigned activities implemented in the field
- Make sure that beneficiaries receive adequate technical support during WASH related activities
- Show respect to all stakeholders including beneficiaries, LA non-beneficiaries.
- Always work in a manner which reflects, humanitarian principles and working procedures, including administrative and logistics procedures
- Visit/supervise regularly all community volunteers in conducting and monitoring of the HP awareness sessions on hygiene key messages and other HP activities at TFD targeted sites.
- Manage hygiene promotion activities database at area level.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure that both hygiene promotion activities and hardware activities are implemented in a coordinated and integrated manner.
- Collecting data from the field (CHVs) on daily and weekly basis and reporting to the Hygiene Project Manager .
- Complying and archiving all the data collecting from the field.
- Carry out all that is entrusted to him by his direct supervisor within the framework of his work
Requirements
- The applicant must have a bachelor's degree in any specialization.
- Have at least one years' experience at the same level.
- Experience in health projects and WASH projects.
- Cross-cultural awareness and insight into WASH issues
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Extremely flexible, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations.
- Ability to relate to and motivate local staff effectively.
- Creative and able to work with limited resources.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond appropriately to questions from senior managers in the field and head office, counterparts and government.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to interpret data, have a strong emphasis on program monitoring, and conduct results-based programming.
Work Conditions
The position will be based in the TFD Al-Khawkhah Office, with field trips outside the city/town, within target Governorates. The candidate will need to be flexible on time depending on the project's needs. Regular working hours will be 08:00 to 15:00, but may require flexibility as the work dictates.
