Job Title: Lead Engineer – Civil

Experience Level: 10-15 Years in the Oil and Gas Sector

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Lead Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry to manage civil design and analysis for onshore and offshore projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of civil design techniques, statutory requirements, and applicable codes, as well as the ability to oversee and review engineering documentation, coordinate with clients, and manage vendor deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Civil Engineering Design and Analysis:

• Apply advanced civil design techniques and analysis methods specific to the Oil and Gas sector.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and industry codes for onshore and offshore projects.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation such as calculations, specifications, philosophies, datasheets, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to meet project specifications and standards.

2.    Project Coordination and Client Management:

• Attend project review and coordination meetings, representing the civil engineering discipline.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Engage with clients effectively to manage expectations and address concerns.

3.    Vendor and Document Review:

• Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of 3D models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of civil design techniques and analysis methods in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Familiarity with statutory requirements and industry codes applicable to onshore and offshore projects.
• Proficiency in reviewing engineering documents, including calculations, specifications, and drawings.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with experience in client and vendor management.
• Ability to attend and contribute to project meetings, ensuring project objectives are met.
