About the Job: a Medical Representative with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Location :Taiz, Aden, Hudaydah, Mukalla

Responsibilities

In general, the process of pharmaceutical marketing involves contacting potential doctors and customers, identifying their needs, persuading them that your products (rather than those of competitors) can best satisfy those needs. 

Duties often include: 

  • arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling
  • Follow up orders at the agent's branch and make sure they are delivered to customers 
  • Follow up the status of products and prescriptions near doctors and at the hospitals, medical centers and pharmacies
  • Follow up the near expired products and work on selling them.
  • make presentations to doctors and other medical staff.
  • organize conferences for doctors and other medical staff 
  • manage budgets for outside speakers, conferences and other activities
  • build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and support administrative staff 
  • keep detailed records of all contacts by (supervisor app).
  • Achieve, and if possible exceed, annual sales targets
  • gain new customers, as well as developing long-term relationships with existing ones
  • Make monthly and weekly plans for visits and activities.
  • regularly attend company meetings, presentations and briefings 
  • keep up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpret, present and discuss this data with health professionals during presentations
  • analyze sales data to improve results and make sure that resources are used effectively 
  • monitor competitor activities and competitors' products
  • keep up to date with new developments in the NHS, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy accordingly
  • develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to customers in the medical and healthcare sector
  • stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
  • Work on any tasks or reports requested by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Highly motivated, ambitious & enthusiastic

  • Bachelor's degree of Pharmacy.
  • Very Good English
  • Lives in the same city.
  • It is preferable to have a car.
