As a QA/QC Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all civil engineering projects undertaken by our company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and audits to ensure that all construction activities and materials meet the required standards and specifications. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving any quality issues that may arise during the construction process.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
2. Review and approve construction materials and methods to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
3. Monitor and control the quality of construction activities, including earthworks, concrete works, steel works, and finishes.
4. Identify and resolve any quality issues that may arise during the construction process.
5. Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
6. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure that quality requirements are met.
7. Conduct regular audits of the construction site to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams to ensure that quality requirements are understood and implemented.
9. Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related issues.
10. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in quality management.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 1-5 years of experience in QA/QC Civil Engineering.
3. Knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
