Key Accountabilities
- Develop and manage the annual market research plan and budget.
- Plan, execute and report all CBFS tracking/measurement studies, such as brand tracking, advertising tracking and public relations tracking.
- Segment and analyze research needs in various target sectors to maximize service while coordinating with the various business lines.
- Plan and execute market research projects related to specific areas in order to provide best-in-class support to marketing and other company divisions/departments.
- Conduct both quantitative and qualitative researches and implement the latest research methods and technologies.
- Utilize online research capability for research projects to develop it as a viable data collection method for CBFS research studies.
Other Accountabilities
- Arrange and ensure the collection of reference data through the proper sources & history market research to compare results, analyze trends and ensure market representation in research studies.
- Study, analyze and report the macroeconomic factors that influence the economies and trends of the State of Qatar and forecast movements in economic indicators, such as interest rates and currencies.
- Study, analyze and report findings on the macro environment (legal, political, social and technological) pertaining to certain market sectors/industries.
- Conduct data validation and analyses to ensure statistical significance and relevance of research data.
- Design data collection formats, tabulates and analysis summaries of study findings and extract data from various databases, research miscellaneous sources as needed to develop metrics and written reports.
- Prepare comparative analysis to provide benchmarking information on products & services, pricing and policies.
- Prepare reports of research findings, illustrating data and results graphically and offer conclusions and recommendations.
- Monitor trends and performance of various competitive organizations in similar and related businesses; provide highlights and summaries to facilitate management decision making and strategic planning.
