Job Title: Systems Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a CCNA and MCSA certificate/ knowledge and have extensive knowledge in networking and IT solutions, including different network typologies. This role involves account management, network maintenance contracts, and systems engineering. The Systems Engineer will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Engineering (IT Solutions):
- Perform Mozon software products implementation including installation, configuration and training.
- Perform IT products implementation including installation, configuration and training.
- Perform periodic performance checks and maintenance for systems.
- Perform periodic backups of systems data and configuration.
- Apply the required system updates and configuration changes.
- Take ownership of issues reported and follow up on tickets to resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve the reported issues while applying required SLA.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Cooperate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Create and update user and admin product manuals.
- Following standard procedure for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team.
- Perform Remote and on-site support.
- Engage regularly with upper management, providing reports on project status, activities, and achievements
Pre-Sales Engineering:
- Understand customer’s requirements to address the suitable solution.
- Create and update offers for the suggested solution.
- Follow up on the deals from opening to closure.
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFQ responses.
- Understand technical problems that may arise during the sales process and suggest the suitable solution
- Supporting sales executives with solution sizing, quoting and selling.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure items delivery on time to keep work flowing normally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, communication engineering, computer science or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in networking and IT solutions such as backup, cloud, CCTV, IP telephony, and low current solutions.
- Proven experience with Windows server domain management and administrator.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good experience in computer maintenance software and hardware.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) are a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- CCNA and MCSA certification is a plus.
- CCNA Security certificate or course is a plus.
- Experience in a pre-sales role or similar capacity.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in IT and networking.
