Technical Office Manager – Panel Boards Studies

As a technical office manager for low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) panels, your role involves overseeing the design, planning, and execution of electrical panel projects. Here's an outline of your key responsibilities:

  1. Tendering:  Receive and review all bidding/project study documents, ensure that the documents are complete and issue technical and commercial offers. Check with the sales department or the customer in case of the need to collect some data and information and hold a customer meeting as requested. Studying the Specs, BOQ, Vendor List, and determining the possibility of accepting or rejecting the project and determining the reasons for rejection with the Director of Panels department.
  2. Design and Engineering: Work closely with engineers and designers to study technical specifications, schematics, and layouts for LV and MV panels and issue shop drawings . Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Project Management: One project is in hand, coordinate and manage project from inception to completion, ensuring that they meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and deadlines. This includes overseeing scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  4. Procurement: Stay updated with market availability and work with purchasing to source materials, components, and equipment required for panel fabrication.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff involved in panel design, fabrication, testing, and installation. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team cohesion and productivity.

  9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, test reports, and correspondence. Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement within the technical office. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall performance and competitiveness
