Contract Type: Special Service Contract
Duration: Six months renewable based on funding availability and performance.
Duty Station: Based in the targeted districts (Abs, Mustaba, Bani Qais, Kohlan Affar, and Al-Shaghaderah) in Hajjah governorate.
Department: Health & Nutrition Program
Reporting to: H & N Coordinator / WASH Coordinator.
Written Test: Required

Job Description:
The Field Monitor will be responsible for monitoring and supervising the project activities in project site locations in Hajjah Governorate. He/She will work under direct supervision of the Program Coordinators to whom regular reports and certain data should be submitted and will work closely with the project staff in the field and office to provide the required support.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous contact with the affected population in the intervention area and contribute to improving community participation in programming.
- Assist with the selection of community volunteers at the field level.
- Ensure and follow up that all reports are accurately prepared and submitted on time by health workers and CHNVs.
- Report periodically to the program coordinators on the project activities progress.
- Report periodically to the line supervisor on any relevant issues on the implementing activities including complains/suggestions.
- Monitor and review the delivery and distribution of non-food items, and verify that the related data and reporting are accurate.
- Contribute to monitoring beneficiaries’ satisfaction through interviews with project beneficiaries.
- Maintain proper filing systems and storage of all project documents, reports and other relevant technical materials (both hard and soft copies).
- Contribute to the documentation of lessons learned and success stories for the implemented activities.
- Ensure that beneficiaries’ access to the service provider guarantees protection and gender sensitivity.
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- University degree in a related field.
- A minimum of two year work experience in the field and working with NGOs. Prefer work experience in nutrition projects.
- Good English language, especially written English.
- Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Applications.
- Ability to perform under pressure and workload.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with local authorities.
