JOB SUMMARY

Developing and implementing the social media strategies, social media presence, increasing digital outreach and visibility through reflecting the foundation’s brand and image, programs, initiatives, events in all relevant media platforms. In addition to ensuring adequate execution of all designs and content in conformance to guidelines and parameters.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing of a social media and online presence strategy locally, regionally and internationally that would reflect the proper image of the foundation and its initiatives/ subsidiaries.
  • Managing the posting and interacting on all relevant social media platforms within the guidelines of the communications strategy.
  • Developing and implementing marketing plans related to the foundation’s programs and initiatives, and ensuring that communications’ messages are being delivered as per the objectives of those programs.
  • Ensuring foundation image and brand is properly present and visible in all social media posts and interactions.
  • Following up on news and social media posts related to the foundation locally, regionally and internationally and overseeing the responses to any online interactions.
  • Managing the continuous update of website material and designs for the foundation and the initiatives.
  • Following up on news and social media posts related to the foundation locally, regionally and internationally and overseeing the responses to any online interactions. Setting a policy for such.
  • Collecting data related to the foundation’s presence in media and online platforms.
  • Managing the preparation of content in both Arabic and English languages to be used in various relevant online platforms, in collaboration with the content specialist.
  • Evaluating the presence in social media and online platforms and adjusting the strategy if needed.
  • Participating in developing online presence and outreach plans for the new initiatives.
  • Overseeing the process of developing/ soliciting content to be posted and shred on online platforms that is relevant to its objectives.
  • Collaborating with graphic design team for any material related to online presence.
  • Ensuring that all initiatives are supported properly from a social media perspective and developing processes to standardize and normalize as per the initiatives’ requirements.
  • Preparing the development of the Department’s budget, and monitoring financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment
  • Coordinating with all Department heads for social media issues.
  • Communicate with online platforms’ followers.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

B.A. in marketing, communication, journalism or a related field.

A minimum of ten years’ experience in communications & PR.

Special Factors and Special Competencies

Knowledge of NGO’s work of grants, programs and funds is a must
