Background

Rofqa for Humanitarian Development Foundation is an independent, non- governmental,, non- profit foundation. It was established in 2009, . RHD was officially registered at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as per license 52/268.
Fields of work: WASH - Food security and livelihoods - Shelter - Nutrition - Education -Health - Protection. RHD has a strong and close relationship with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs  and Local authorities, RHD has also a good relationship and acceptance with the host communities, and we have great experience in implementing projects in most Yemeni regions.

Main Responsibilities:

1.    Develop Project Plans: Help set clear goals, timelines, and deliverables, creating a solid foundation for the project’s success.
2.    Monitor Progress: Keep track of project milestones, regularly updating on progress, identifying any delays, and solving problems quickly to keep things moving forward.
3.    Anticipate and Address Challenges: Spot potential issues early and find practical solutions to keep the project on course.
4.    Build Relationships with Beneficiaries: Work closely with beneficiaries to make sure their needs are met and their voices are heard throughout the project.
5.    Evaluate and Improve: Take part in evaluating how the project is doing, gather feedback, and suggest improvements for future success.
6.    Support Activity Implementation: Help carry out project tasks, ensuring they meet the quality standards, while providing administrative and technical support to the team.
7.    Organize Events and Meetings: Plan and manage project-related meetings and events, making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone stays informed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1.    Keep the Project Manager Updated: Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and any changes with the Project Manager to ensure everything stays on track.
2.    Prepare Reports and Documentation: Document activities, including visual content, and make sure reports are timely, accurate, and easy to understand.
3.    Coordinate M&E Data: Work closely with the M&E team and Project Manager to gather, organize, and review data, ensuring we capture the real impact of our activities.
4.    Maintain Logistics Communication: Stay in touch with the logistics team to ensure supplies are procured and delivered when needed.
5.    Ensure Effective Filing and Reporting: Keep all project documents organized and contribute to donor reports that highlight progress and outcomes.
6.    Support Communication Materials: Help prepare brochures and other materials to communicate the project’s work to various stakeholders.
7.    Provide Administrative Support: Offer support with administrative tasks to ensure smooth project operations and keep everything running efficiently.
8.    Promote a Safe Working Environment: Ensure the project team and community members follow safety guidelines, maintaining a respectful and safe environment for all.
9.    Adhere to Organizational Policies: Follow the organization’s policies and procedures to ensure activities align with best practices and regulatory standards.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Hold a diploma or Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in business administration, project management, or administrative work, with a solid track record in project implementation.
  • Procurement & Implementation Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of practical procedures, procurement practices, and effective project implementation.
  • Project Management & Reporting: Have experience in managing projects, preparing periodic reports, and ensuring smooth project execution in English.
  • Humanitarian Understanding: Bring a deep understanding of the humanitarian field, especially within the context of Yemen, with a focus on local challenges and opportunities.
  • Conflict-Sensitive Implementation: Apply conflict-sensitive approaches to project management, with expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Local Relationships: Establish strong relationships with local authorities and host communities, ensuring collaboration and alignment with project goals.
  • Legal Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective project governance.
