HUMAN ACCESS announces the following vacant position:

Job Specialization:
- Provide protection assistances for the vulnerable IDPs from the risks they face as a result of displacement with an appropriate response according to the available capabilities or refer them to service providers from other partners in the same area.
Background
- Human Access for Partnership and Development (HUMAN ACCESS) is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit, humanitarian, developmental, charitable, voluntary, and community-based organization. It was established in March 1990 by an elite of volunteers and social personalities as a voluntary non-governmental organization that implements its programs, projects, and services according to periodic plans, a deliberate and renewed strategy, and a method of work based on the scientific methodology to be an effective link between donors and beneficiaries. HUMAN ACCESS is OCHA implementing partner in Marib. HUMAN ACCESS is characterized by a strong and renewed relationship with development partners at home and abroad, and it has joint efforts with official and popular authorities. It is also distinguished by a tangible presence in many charitable and humanitarian events and activities. During its period of operation, which extends for about three decades, the association obtained several memberships in various organizations and bodies.
- The association is a member of the Department of Public Information for the Non-Governmental Organizations of the United Nations (DPI-NGO), a member of the Arab Union for Voluntary Work, and an active and accredited partner to various international organizations, the most important of which are the World Food Program (WFP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
- HUMAN ACCESS has also obtained membership in many local, Arab and international organizations and networks working in various fields of volunteer and humanitarian work. It in addition obtained the international quality certificate ISO 9001: 2008 as a culmination of its institutional work.
- This project is for IDPs and entitled:’ Lifesaving Integrated response for the vulnerable people in Emergencies in Marib city district (LIFE Project)’

Responsibilities and tasks
1 Follow up on the work and procedures necessary to provide protection for the displaced in the area on a daily basis and submit daily reports on IDPs cases and any violations to the director of the center.
2 Follow up on cases of sexual harassment or assault among the displaced and submit reports directly to the director of the center as a submitter to the mission and OCHA.
3 Conduct interviews with victims and their families, propose the necessary assistance, and submit a report on the situation to the director of the center for adoption of recommendations. These cases are then submitted during the "at-risk groups' meeting" to the partners and OCHA for approval of assistance.
4 Make the necessary assessment to determine if there are any protection gaps in the project activities.
5 Provide technical support related to protection to the team to ensure that the procedures, whether related to prevention, response or evaluation, are implemented in accordance with the principles of protection.
6 Carrying out advocacy and lobbying work and providing the necessary support to build the capacity of workers, displaced persons and their host community in the field of protection and human rights basics and implementing the necessary training courses for this.
7 Commitment to the working hours specified by the project manager.
8 Commitment to the financial and administrative principles of the association and ensuring respect for the principles of non-discrimination among the displaced in the center in accordance with the rules of OCHA.
9 Respect the rules and ethics of work and adhere to the code of professional conduct of the association.
10 Submit a weekly report on the level of achievement in the implementation of activities in accordance with the plan to the Director of the Center or when requested to do so.
11 Keep well all records, files and reports of the project electronically when instructions are issued.
12 Participate in protection coordination meetings, whether at the center or in the office when requested.
13 Participate in any protection activity that may be organized by government agencies, the mission, the body or international organizations when requested.
14 Conducting interviews with the families of the displaced in the center and carrying out the necessary follow-up to provide the response and prevention available within the framework of the project or referring them to other service providers and ensuring that there are no violations of their rights.
15 Ensure that records and forms of daily work are kept and archived in accordance with the directives of the project management.
16 Coordinate with partners to find reference mechanisms that will ensure the protection of IDPs.
17 Accomplish any other tasks assigned to him by the Director of the Center.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and experience
1. Master of Sociology, Humanities or related field.
2. Experience of at least two years in the same field
