Job Purpose:
RRM Field Team Supervisor will work under supervision of the Project Manager and will be responsible for managing and leading the field team to ensure that all the activities related to the Rapid Response Mechanism including rapid assessment, registration, warehousing, and distribution are well-implemented and in timely manner in the Al Jawf governorates RRM Field Team Supervisor will lead a team, ensuring that RRM objectives are met efficiently and effectively while adhering to donor requirements and best practices in humanitarian response. RRM Field Team Supervisor will report to the Project Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervising the implementation of all RRM activities with the technical support of the RRM Project Manager.
- Developing timely & detailed monthly implementation plans of RRM activities in close coordination with the project Manager, RRM teams, and supporting departments.
- Responsible for day-to-day guidance of the RRM field team to ensure that the all activities are implemented in line with the organization technical guidelines and UNFPA regulations, and are done on time with quality.
- Conducting proper coordination of the project related activities with all stakeholders, including local Authority, EX Unit and local authorities in DFA the targeted areas.
- Following up all the organization activities implemented in all the targeted areas in Al Jawf beside the RRM Activities.
- Prepare regular reports on field activities, challenges, and achievements for stakeholders.
- Ensure a accurate inspection for the in-kind Materials, including RRM kits, NFIs, ESKs, Learning Materials etc. and proper warehousing for those materials.
- Participate and support the development of logistical plans for project activities, including shelter, WASH, RRM, and Education interventions.
- Liaise with local authorities, partners, and communities to ensure collaboration and support
- Ensure a close follow-up of IDPs influx in the organization’s coverage area in coordination with the local authorities in DFA and EX Unit in IRG.
- Collecting on a regular basis information on IDPs movements (newly displaced families, affected by the natural disasters, and People in Hard-to-reach areas.
- Proactively participate in registration and verification process for the Project BNFs.
- Oversee the distribution of RRM kits in the targeted areas and ensure proper distribution on timely manner and in accordance with the RRM Criteria.
- Oversee project implementation, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes to ensure effectiveness.
- Supporting the RRM field teams to ensure that they have a solid understanding of the project technical design, implementation approaches, and the organization policies &tools, including M&E tools, Assessment Tools, and CFM tools.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in management, education, social sciences or other related discipline, advanced university degree would be an advantage;
- Relevant professional experience of not less than 2 years in similar positions.
- At least 1-3 years of working experience in the humanitarian sector preferable, working experience with RRM, Protection intervention programs is an advantage.
- Excellent skills in monitoring implementation of program activities.
- Working experience in Microsoft program.
- Excellent in oral and written Arabic and English.
Languages:
The incumbent MUST be fluent in both languages (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening)
