Yemen Foundation (Resonate!), is a not-for-profit civil society foundation contributing to inclusive and local sustainable development through the provision of institutional development and local community empowerment programs to diverse groups of development stakeholders including Youth, CSOs and local Authorities. Resonate! believes in community-based interventions as a main source of local sustainable development.

Position Summary:

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, and learning framework of all projects implemented by Resonate! Yemen Foundation. He/She will develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the foundation. He\She will be responsible for monitoring the framework of the foundation strategy.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop project’s logframes and M&E plans
  • Create and develop project’s trackers
  • Create, test, and utilize data collection instruments as needed.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis according to projects’ log frames, work plans and Resonate research requirements.
  • Maintain secure database with all project monitoring and research data.
  • Conduct data and trend analysis to assist staff in decision-making and activity implementation.
  • Support the project management unit with the compilation of the Quick Impact Project
  • monitoring reports and case studies to showcase the impact of the organization’s effort to the donors.
  • Facilitate ongoing programmatic adaptation, learning, and synthesis of best practices. 
  • Develop quarterly and annual M&E reports for all projects and for the foundation.
  • Sharing the content of the complaints with the programs managers and agree on the focal point staff who will handle the complaint and feedback on its status.
  • Provide technical support to enumerators and partners on use of modern data collection tools.
  • Provide training to project staff to build technical M&E skills, as well as an appreciation for and ongoing use of M&E data for effective implementation.
  • Perform other related M&E tasks when needed.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • A bachelor degree in a relevant field (an advanced degree is preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of M&E.
  • Ability to work with data collection and analysis software) Kobo Tall Box - Google Form – SPSS Microsoft Power B…. atc.
  • Previous experience in working with INGOs in Yemen is a plus.
  • Excellent Writing skills in Arabic and English
  • Good social and interpersonal skills

  • Sense of initiative and responsibility, reactivity with a good character
  • Excellent writing skills: ability to synthesize and deliver messages in simple language,
  • Capacity to adapt to various contexts and publics.
