Key Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, direct, train and provide guidance to the finance staff
- Set finance Department goals in alignment with organization's mission and strategic objectives
- Set directions, prioritize and organize actions and resources to achieve objectives
- Responsible for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Evaluate, maintain and manage financial systems and controls to ensure the efficiency, accuracy, integrity and transparency of all activities in accordance with the internal policies and procedures, legal requirements, and the Generally Accepted Accounting Standards
- Responsible for the day to day financial management and reporting, and ensure maintaining effective and efficient controls and budget management and tracking
- Responsible for the cash flow management and cash forecast to ensure liquidity
- Prepare budgets of overall activities in coordination with related departments' managers as required and perform budget revision as may be required
- Responsible for the monthly close process and the completeness of transactions
- Review and approve the reconciliations of accounts
- Provide support, advice, and solutions for the management and the other departments on any financial related issues
- Review, approve, track and report grants’ budget revisions
- Review variance analysis and discuss results with the respective managers
- Facilitate and monitor the audits conducted on the organization, and review the audits' reports, audit exceptions, and recommendations, and ensure a timely implementation of the recommendations
- Ensure proper maintenance of records and files
- Conduct performance feedback sessions and team meetings with the finance staff
- Responsible for the finance staff recruitment
Qualifications and Experiences
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Auditing.
- 7 years' experience in Finance, Accounting & Auditing.
- Proven management skills and competence in people management.
- Fundamental and advanced accounting knowledge
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills
- Sufficient leadership skills
- Ability to work on and improve accounting systems
- Sufficient knowledge in Microsoft applications
- Self-motivated, hardworking and self-starter
- Adequate communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with peers and management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and meet short deadlines
- Willing to work long hours as needed to meet deadlines and during peak periods
- Seek additional responsibilities as learning progression occurs
- Commitment to continuous development in professional/functional/technical skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in policies, procedures, responsibilities and workloads
- Ability to work independently
- Committed to maintain high ethical standards, integrity and honesty

- Ability to move between governorates and reside in any governorate according to work needs
- Good communication and profeciency of Arabic and English, conversation and writing.
