Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to create user-centered designs for our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences and will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring our vision to life.

National Microfinance Foundation (NMF) has been operating since 2003, focusing on economic empowerment and supporting small and micro-enterprises. Its goal is to be a source of financing and a tool for growth and development, empowering the community economically through a range of financial services such as financing, savings, insurance, as well as non-financial services including feasibility studies, training, and monitoring. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user requirements and design solutions that meet business goals.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing results.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to incorporate the latest design techniques.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
• Proven experience at least 2 years as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing design expertise.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience with responsive design and designing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
