Our mission is to Contribute to youth and community development by implementing quality programs and building effective partnerships in accordance with best institutional practices. ASF started its work in Yemen since 2013 and has been implementing projects in 4 sectors namely skills-building, peace-building with good governance, FSL, and Education with Child Protection.
Purpose of the Job
The main purpose of is to manage the organization's financial assets, monitor cash flow, oversee investment strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide financial guidance to the leadership team to safeguard the organization's financial stability and support its long-term sustainability and growth objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
ASF is looking for an efficient and qualified person to fill the position to carry out the following Tasks and Responsibilities:
.1 Preparing weekly and monthly expenses according to the systems and policies followed in the institution.
.2 Disbursing and liquidating the operational trust of the treasurer.
.3 Liquidating the weekly trust of the institution or one of its programs according to the systems and policies of the institution.
.4 Collecting the review of periodic expenses submitted by employees and ensuring that they meet all their requirements and deliver them at the specified times to the accountant.
.5 Preparing bank settlements monthly or twice a month as needed.
For the innovative system
6 Writing letters related to the work of the administration and archiving them in its special file and writing letters in the official papers of the institution according to writing letters.
.7 Making the daily movement of the fund and then depositing in banks.
.8 Archiving bonds and following up on their completion of all missing supporting documents.
9 Receiving, following up and liquidating all employee and program trusts of the institution
.10 Opening program accounts in the bank and following up on all their transactions and procedures.
.11 Cutting receipts for customers and then archiving them.
.12 Working on the Yemen Soft system regarding the collection vouchers.
.13 Preparing invoices and documents for reports according to the statements submitted by the accountant.
.14 Making the necessary copies of financial documents (photocopying or scanning) when needed, in addition to archiving them.
15 Transcribing any financial statements into their documents and forms.
16 Preparing the auditors' requirements and attachments and doing the necessary for them from photocopying and archiving, etc.
17 Carrying out any incidental tasks that may arise (calling, sending a fax, etc.) assigned to him by the accountant.
18 Following up on the disbursement of bank checks and then distributing them to those entitled to them.
19 Carrying out any work or tasks assigned to him by senior management that fall within the administration's jurisdiction.
Required Profile and Experience
1. Education:
- University degree in Business Administration or related field
.2. Professional Experience:
- At least two years of experience
- Experience working with organizations and Foundations
- Computer skills and Microsoft 365 applications
- Excellent English language
