Role Purpose
Design engineers conceptualize, design, and develop products or systems, working closely with various teams to ensure the designs meet the required specifications and standards. They use a combination of creative and technical skills to bring ideas to life, improve existing designs, and ensure that final products are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Scope Of Role
Reports to: Projects Manager
Staff reporting to this role: workers in sites
Budget Responsibilities: No
Main tasks and Responsibilities
1. Concept Development:
- Generate innovative ideas and concepts for new products or systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess project requirements.
2. Design and Development:
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost.
3. Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Project manager, engineers, and Fin, sales, and admin .
- Communicate design specifications and changes clearly to all stakeholders.
4. Analysis and Testing:
- Perform simulations and analyze data to validate design performance.
- Conduct tests and experiments to refine designs.
- Address any issues or defects identified during testing.
5. Supervision:
- Supervising work for the installation process and reporting in daily basis
6. Documentation:
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and user manuals.
- Maintain records of design iterations and project progress.
7. Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in design engineering.
8. Project Management:
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material and component sourcing.
Other assigned tasks by the line manager.

Internally: All employees in the company
Externally: Workers in sites, contractors, and engineers and the projects stakeholders

Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or any related field).
Experience
- Experience in a SOLAR filed
