Job Title: Ticketing and Operartion Manager

Job Objective

The Ticketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ticketing process., and ensures that the process is efficient, effective, and aligns with the company's values and goals.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Overseeing the ticketing operations for events, performances, or attractions.
  • Managing a team of ticketing staff to ensure smooth operation and customer service.
  • Developing and implementing ticketing strategies to maximize revenue and attendance.
  • Coordinating with event organizers, promoters, and venue management to ensure accurate ticket sales and distribution.
  • Monitoring ticket sales and inventory, and adjusting pricing and availability as needed.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any ticketing-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyzing sales data and preparing reports to track performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures related to ticketing operations.
  • Collaborating with marketing and promotional teams to drive ticket sales and increase awareness of events.
  • Staying current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in ticketing management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in ticketing operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in ticketing software and systems,.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage ticket sales, pricing, and inventory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, team members, and event organizers.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in ticketing management.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to oversee complex ticketing operations and logistics.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle high-pressure situations, last-minute changes, and peak sales periods.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing a positive experience for ticket buyers

EXPERIENCE  

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience 

Education:

  • University degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
