Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives


Position Overview:

As the Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of our USA university campus in Dubai, with a focus on expanding to other UAE destinations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Execution:


Develop comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute project tasks efficiently.

Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery.

Campus Establishment:


Lead the setup of the USA university campus in Dubai, including site selection, infrastructure development, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with relevant authorities and partners to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to construction, IT infrastructure, and facilities management.

Strategic Growth Initiatives:


Develop and implement strategies to drive the growth of the university campus and expand to other UAE destinations.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the education sector.

Work closely with the senior management team to develop business plans and investment proposals.

Stakeholder Management:


Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and project team members.

Cultivate strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners.

Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Budget and Resource Management:


Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring allocation of resources in alignment with project objectives.

Monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.

Optimize resource utilization and allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience in project management, preferably in the education sector or real estate development.

Strong understanding of UAE regulations and procedures related to education and business establishment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration towards common goals.

Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.
