Regional Sales Manager - Retail Wholesale (Wearable Sports Goods) for Middle east and Africa

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales activities within the retail wholesale sector for our wearable sports goods division for Africa region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a team of sales representatives to achieve revenue targets within the designated region.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the retail wholesale sector.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to establish and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales representatives to effectively promote and sell wearable sports goods to retailers and wholesalers.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales strategies with product offerings, promotional activities, and inventory management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business expansion and product enhancements.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales and business activities.


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5-8 years in sales management within the retail wholesale industry, preferably in the sporting goods or apparel sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to assess market dynamics, identify opportunities, and formulate effective sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel to Middle East and Africa within the designated region as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
