Job Functions / Responsibilities
TASKS
- To respond to any repair and maintenance requests with speed and with minimum disturbance.
- Answer all technical requests received by telephone with respect of the Four Seasons Standards
- Dispatch if needed, check and handle work orders timely
- Keep all equipment in good repair by providing the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Engineering Management
- Manage safety issues related to engineering system of the hotel timely
- Perform Special Preferences Guest Checklist
- Hand over / Take-over of shift duties
- Attend briefing and meeting of engineering, the other department meeting within engineering
- All methods, materials and practices must meet and be in accordance with Four Seasons specification, national codes and standard practices
- Follow Fire Fighting procedures in place in the Resort
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Comply with all departmental compliance requirements as set forth by Human Resources.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook
- Specific Responsibilities and Tasks
- Start and Shut down of Substation Switchgear System
- Start standby condenser water pump for any Chiller system
- Log of Substation system reading
- Substation management
- Perform emergency trouble shooting or breakdown
- Handle the breakdown of electrical and electronic equipment & power supply system
- Set up of audio-visual recorder in guest room
- Set up of in-room games station
- Test of emergency generator
- Report irregularities.
- Check all external lights & public area lights and repair any fault immediately
- Log of utilities readings – Electricity & Electronic
- Assist the Engineering supervisor to plan and perform preventive maintenance for electrical and electronic system in the Resort
- Daily communication report

- Has excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written & verbal)
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and is able to evidence professionalism and adaptability
- Previous experience with a Luxury Hotel & Resort
