Overview

The Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for maintaining extensive knowledge of our products’ components, functions, and processes. This role involves providing technical expertise to assist in closing sales and meeting clients' needs.

Success in this position requires a deep understanding of our company’s products and services from both technical and operational perspectives, along with the ability to communicate this knowledge effectively to non-technical customers.

Job Tasks

• Serve as a technical resource for the icetana AI sales team.
• Conduct live and recorded demonstrations, and Proof of Value deployments.
• Assist customers and system integrators with solution design and hardware sizing.
• Support System Integrators in responding to tenders, RFPs, and other requirements from end users and customers.
• Engage with end users, customers, and system integrators to develop projects and address technical requirements.
• Localise Arabic, English and French documentation as needed for tenders and RFPs.
• Support the sales organisation, both locally and globally, in achieving goals and objectives.

Professional Requirements

• Video Surveillance Systems: Experience with concepts including Field of View (FoV), Frame Rate, Bandwidth, detection, and recognition ranges.
• Video Management Systems (VMS): Hands-on experience in design, installation, and deployment with knowledge of various VMS brands and platforms.
• Video Analytics Systems: Hands-on experience in design, installation, and deployment.
• Networking: Basic knowledge required with preference for candidates with CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
• Server Deployment and Configuration: Fundamental understanding.
• Linux Operating Systems: Intermediate proficiency.
• Office Tools: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Language Skills

icetana AI is an international company, and the corporate language is English.

• English: Full professional proficiency required.
• Arabic: Full professional proficiency required.
• French: Professional working proficiency desirable.

Employment Details

• Type: Full-time
• Location: Fully remote, but the candidate must be located in the Middle East. The primary area of influence will be the META region.
• Travel: Availability for travel within the region is required.
