Job Summary: The Communication & Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, managing public relations, supervising data collection and analysis, overseeing reporting activities, maintaining databases, designing information graphics, managing social media platforms, analyzing media coverage, coordinating meetings and events, managing volunteer programs, and supervising various organizational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare executive plans for communication management.
  • Develop and implement public relations strategies.
  • Train team on project data entry.
  • Supervise report writing and preparation.
  • Analyze data and present reports.
  • Monitor data quality and accuracy.
  • Supervise data collection in field and office.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Develop reporting formats for donors.
  • Maintain accurate database records.
  • Design information graphics.
  • Process weekly, internal, and external reports.
  • Archive materials and reports.
  • Supervise data entry team.
  • Prepare ad-hoc documentation.
  • Manage organization's website and social media.
  • Create media content for activities.
  • Implement communication plan with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings and visits.
  • Prepare for organization's events.
  • Implement technical and marketing designs.
  • Manage communication processes.
  • Communicate with media outlets.
  • Receive and manage delegations.
  • Develop and implement volunteer programs.
  • Supervise documentation of activities.
  • Archive media materials.
  • Supervise government liaison.
  • Supervise information and documentation plan.
  • Supervise information technology services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Media and Public Relations.
  • 6 years' experience in preparing and drafting reports.
  • Flexibility and ability to work long hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in website design and content production.
  • Experience in copywriting, editing, and drafting.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication.
