Position: Cook for Guesthouse 
Locations:  Sana’a 
Technical Supervisor: Admin Officer

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide food recipes for IRY expats and guests.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Cook is accountable for fulfilling his or her roles and responsibilities in line with the organization’s values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and staff. 

Detailed Duties & Responsibilities

1.    Prepare and cook food according to recipes.
2.    Check the quality of ingredients.
3.    Preparing a glossary list weekly.
4.    Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
5.    Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
6.    Wash dishes and clean kitchen according to agreed hygiene standards.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

A)  EXPERIENCE Required:

• At least 1 year’s work experience in a similar field of activity.
• Good knowledge and applies kitchen /cooking hygiene principles.

• This position is located in Sana’a - Yemen requires 100% attending in the guesthouse.
