General Practitioner - Obstetrics and Gynecology

  • Provide comprehensive prenatal care to pregnant women, including regular check-ups, prenatal testing, ultrasounds, and counseling on nutrition, exercise, and pregnancy-related discomforts.
  • Conduct screenings for gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, genetic disorders, and other pregnancy-related complications. Offer counseling and support for high-risk pregnancies.
  • Attend deliveries in various settings, including hospitals, birthing centers, and home births. Monitor labor progress, manage pain, and address any complications that arise during childbirth.
  • Provide postnatal care to new mothers and their babies, including postpartum check-ups, breastfeeding support, contraception counseling, and management of postpartum complications.
  • Perform routine gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, breast exams, and screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Offer counseling on contraceptive options, including birth control pills, intrauterine devices (IUDs), implants, and sterilization procedures. Provide insertion and removal of contraceptive devices as needed.
  • Diagnose and manage menstrual disorders such as irregular periods, heavy bleeding (menorrhagia), painful periods (dysmenorrhea), and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
  • Provide care and support for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), symptom management, and osteoporosis prevention.
  • Offer counseling and services related to family planning, including preconception counseling, fertility evaluation, and assistance with reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
  • Perform minor gynecological procedures in-office or outpatient settings, such as colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, cervical cryotherapy, and excision of genital warts.
  • Educate patients about reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, sexuality, and prevention of STIs. Offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices and risk reduction strategies.
  • Advocate for women's health needs within the healthcare system and the community, promoting access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare services and reproductive rights.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing medical education (CME) activities, conferences, and peer-reviewed literature.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and communications with other healthcare providers.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements in patient care, confidentiality, informed consent, and documentation, ensuring compliance with professional codes of conduct and regulatory guidelines.

  • Must be holding MOH - UAE Evaluation Letter
  • UAE Experience is a must
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience including 2 years in UAE.
