Job Summary
MEP Coordinator leads the effort in coordinating, scheduling, and managing the MEP trades and their associated subcontractors. This position will also work with the project team to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade work.

Principal Accountabilities
- Supports the Project Manager in the coordination of all resource logistics inclusive of HSE requirements, materials and labor
- Works to maintain the attention of the project team on quality. Understand not only the required performance of commissioned equipment and systems, but the required interactions between systems
- Conducts interactions in a manner that fosters communication, respect, and a team approach
Job Responsibilities 2
- Coordinates with various MEP discipline engineers within the project, MEP Contractors / Client Consultants.
- Attends coordination meetings
- Reviews daily reports of all discipline in order to assess the status of various activities.
- Coordinates in all MEP works including buildings work and site facilities with Main Contractor.
- Assists superintendent in interpreting MP drawings and specifications. Assures correct equipment is installed.
- Assists Project Manager in developing, monitoring and updating schedule and managing job with regard to MEP phases.
- Coordinates project resources (manpower, equipment, tools, etc.) among various discipline with each project and liaise with Operation Manager accordingly.
- Reviews of all MEP drawings
- Provides the project team with up to date information on current MEP developments
- Implements Quality policy and objectives in the Project.
- Responsible for Quality control of Installations.
- Responsible for keeping As-builts up to date on a weekly basis.
- Maintains daily log on MEP trades.
Skills
Job Knowledge & Skills
• Knowledge in MEP activities and Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of Participates in the submittal and change order process for MEP phases.
• Coordination of MEP services including design drawings and site activities
• Strong grasp of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems
• Experienced in dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors
• General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
