- Identify potential patients, and perform physical examinations by listening, looking, feeling, and asking questions
- Perform basic laboratory tests including urinalysis, blood work, and imaging procedures, and interpret results
- Perform advanced procedures including dialysis and peritoneal dialysis
- Manage dialysis teams by overseeing patient care, staff scheduling, training, and education
- Manage dialysis centers by overseeing a mechanical and electrical maintenance program
- Maintain records of patient care and treatment using electronic information systems
- Attend meetings with administrators and consultants
- Attend conferences and seminars to stay abreast of developments and updates in dialysis
- Perform other duties as delegated by supervisor
Doctorate in Internal Medicine or Family PracticeAt least 5 years of experiencePrevious experience as a nephrologistStrong communicator, including ability to conduct successful presentationsExcellent clinical judgment
