- Implement the company's HSE regulations.
- Propose and develop different ways to control prospective hazards.
- Ensure the prevention of unsafe conditions/ acts.
- Determine the work hazards on site and work on securing them.
- Monitor the subcontractors’ labour and their work activity to ensure safety in the project.
- Coach employees and subcontractors inside the site location to abide with the HSE precautions.
- Prepare emergency plans to encounter any emergency cases in the project.
- Develop the traffic plan, entrance and exit plan to/from the site.
- Implement and record the emergency drill plan on a regular basis.
- Monitor and submit non- conformity reports and take the necessary corrective actions.
- Prohibit the activities that endanger the health and safety of employees immediately during operation.
- Inspection of equipment used in the project periodically.
- Provide and set up warning and directive signs in the site.
- Inspect the emergency equipment and make sure it is distributed and ready for use
- Prepare the necessary measurements for factors that affect the environment and occupational health of the workers.
- Supervise the safe disposal of hazardous wastes.
- Prepare and keep all required records and documentation as per the approved HSE policies and procedures.
- Identify the project needs of the emergency equipment needed , Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE ) and Safety Tools
Relevant Science Bachelor's Degree ( Engineering , Agriculture, Cjemical Geology , etc. )Minimum 8 years of experience in the same field.NEBOSH / OSHA Construction is a must .Fire Fighting and First Aid certificate is a must Ecellent hands-on experience in Health , Safety and Environment Management Systems in Construction projects.Has excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with others .
