About the Economic Team:

The Economic Team was established based on the presidential announcement in April 2022, comprising national experts to support government reforms. The team provides advice and consultation to the government and the Central Bank on urgent reforms in the economic, developmental, financial, and monetary fields. It also works to enhance efficiency, transparency, and integrity in government entities, study economic challenges, establish foundations for sustainable development, and develop necessary plans for economic development. The team also proposes stimulating solutions for economic growth, increasing state revenues, improving collection efficiency, and diversifying the economic base. The team presents its opinions and studies on economic and financial matters to the Presidential Leadership Council.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research, brief studies, and policy analysis within defined task frameworks.
  • Issuing practical and applicable policies and proposed procedures for each file, including producing documents, studies, and summary reports.
  • Preparing presentations for discussing and analyzing the work done, including reports, plans, studies, and others, in coordination with the Secretary-General.
  • Ensuring the timely submission of documents and studies to the Secretary-General according to the team's plan and working with the Secretary-General to incorporate feedback and deliver tasks on time.
  • Developing and implementing policy research and analysis strategies.
  • Coordinating the implementation of policies with relevant parties and reviewing them.
  • Developing an action plan for important research areas in the economic and financial field and discussing it with the Secretary-General and the team.
  • Supervising and participating in the development of documents and reports addressing various economic aspects in coordination with the Secretary-General.
  • Contributing to the development of the required literature in the organizational and institutional field and updating it.
  • Participating in conferences, seminars, meetings, forums, and training courses held to discuss financial and economic issues in coordination with the Secretary-General and the team.
  • Representing the Secretariat of the team in relevant meetings and events appropriately and working effectively with relevant entities in coordination with the Secretary-General.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders at the local, regional, and international levels.
  • Performing assigned tasks as required by the nature of the position or assigned by the chairman or Secretary-General.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of practical experience in designing and analyzing economic and public policies.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, especially in Office applications and relevant Google applications.
  • Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills.
