JD FOR ACCOUNTANT

Over Financial, management includes but not limited to:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger and inventory entries and, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Managing and recording the cash flow up to date and ensure that cash is available at all times for implementation of the activities or any surprise cash count.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Purchase items aboard 
• Preparing and following up on warehouse records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Stay updated with accounting standards, industry trends, and best practices to ensure adherence to financial reporting requirements.
• Support audits and coordinate with external auditors as necessary.
• Review all approved payment documents with authorized signatures for proper and adequate backup before bank or cash disbursement.
• Prepare all payments vouchers and cheques /bank TRFs while ensuring adequacy and accuracy of supporting documentation.
• Ensure that all cash/bank transactions have been recorded up to date.
• Keeping a bank balance-tracking sheet up to date and coordinate with Finance Officer / Senior Finance Officer for bank balance in local and foreign currency.

Requirements:

• Professional level of English language is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
• Experience in external purchases.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role from 3 to 5 years , demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other relevant tools for financial analysis and reporting.
